We drove up to Villa Nova today with my sister and brother in law to show them how beautiful the area is. I can not believe how incredible their remodel is and how fantastic the whole atmosphere was. The wine was delicious, the menu was just right (try the charcuterie and pulled m pork) and the atmosphere was lively. Our server was Lindsey and she was gracious, fun and made fantastic suggestions for wine and small plates. This is a hidden gem in East TN.

Beautiful setting, terrible service. Waited over half an hour for anyone to even acknowledge we were at the table. Finally got someone’s attention and were told he’d be right back to get our order. Another 20 minutes and he still didn’t return. Went to the bar to try to speed up the process and the lady behind the bar was beyond rude. Definitely won’t return when there are so many other great choices in the area.

This is the very best winery and vineyard (combo if you also visit Watauga Lake Winery just down the block) in the Northeast TN region. The staff is stellar, the wine is delicious and the food is decadent. A must visit on a lovely day! Oh also, the view is incredible.
