This place was recommended by a colleague so we tried it out. The food was mediocre at best. Mostly prepackaged, frozen fair at marked up prices. The cat fish and the hush puppies honestly were very good, however I do not recommend the crab cakes or fried green tomatoes they were just sad pre-frozen yuck you could get from Walmart. The service was very slow to start with and when the food came the rest of my family got their meals and was completely finished eating before mine ever came out. It just wasn't what you would expect from a quaint family owned restaurant, we were quite disappointed. If you decide to try it, get the catfish for sure.

We ate lunch there today. The waitress came to take our drink orders, and we asked for menus. We waited about 10 minutes before a different waitress came to check on us. We again asked for menus and she did bring them. We ordered, and my wife asked (the first waitress) for Heinz 57. She brought an empty bottle and slammed it on the table as she walked by. A different waitress brought my food, and we asked for another bottle, which she did get. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It was DISGUSTING! Extremely greasy and tasted NASTY. A completely different waiter agreed to take it back, and I ordered a plain cheeseburger, with nothing else. The rest of my family completely finished their meals and the cheeseburger was never brought out. I finally was frustrated enough to just leave. As I was paying for my families food the manager brought the burger out and told us to just take it. They weren’t busy enough for food to take so long and have to have 5 different wait staff. Also their ranch dressing is dispensed from a water jug that’s not refrigerated. Very strange. There’s a “For sale” sign in front of the restaurant. That should have been a red flag. Definitely won’t be back.
