After a rainy week of camping, I googled a place to eat as we drove through Camden and saw rave reviews for The Shack. It turns out that they weren't actually open, but after chatting with a man at the smoker for a few minutes, Don offered some sides he had prepared in the cooler and heated up some pulled pork for sandwiches. the owner treated us like family while we were there! my burrito was out of this world, and my son is in love with the Mac and cheese! if you are in Camden and craving BBQ, pay them a visit!
We had the ribs and some sides. Food was good, but the young lady at the cash register was not friendly, was not knowledgeable about the menu and was disinterested. Later the owner (I’m assuming) came out to ask if we needed anything and was cheerful and friendly. Hate to give such a poor review.
