Ate at Hardtime's BBQ for the first time tonight. Amazing ribs and pulled pork. White beans like grandma made. Spoke with Tim and his wife (owners), what a nice family. Great food and great folks!

Pork sandwich was good, the brat was good, I got some smoked ribs which was tasty but way too done could only eat half because the rest was burnt,, everyone who worked there was peaceful and pleasant, good atmosphere

I ate lunch there today with a couple of friends. I had the most tender pork shoulder I've ever had with homemade potato salad and baked beans. My friends had Ribs that fell off the bone slaw and fries. Brat with peppers/onion and fries. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Randomly picked a local establishment, when driving through Carthage. So glad I ended up at this cute little place. I had the BBQ sandwich and it was perfect. The people were so friendly and the guests all seemed happy and like regulars. Check it out!

This was my first time. My friend and I wanted to try something new. So glad we tried this! I had the 1/2 rack ribs and delicious. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich with homemade potato salad. It wasn’t out of a bucket. They were so sweet and was so good. We will return.

Best barbecue around and that we've had in a long time. We used to drive from Carthage to Mt Juliet, or even into Nashville, for bbq. We're so excited to have Hardtime's BBQ right in our neighborhood. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We've had the ribs, some sides, and tried the brisket sandwich today, and all were great.

The best food. Loved the pulled pork, ribs fall off the bone, potato salad and baked beans all fabulous. Hands down the absolute best French fries we've ever had. They're long strips but thin. We've traveled all over the US and their French fries are the best. Tried their chocolate chess pie and it was very good and fresh. I think homemade whipped cream on top would take it to another level. Go early this place is popular and seats fill up fast. Can't wait to try their breakfast. Worth every penny which is rare these days for restaurants.
