Passed Celina while traveling. Really good food. Pork chops were a bit dry, but it was really well seasoned. Service was good as well. Good was reasonably priced.

Great little restaurant in a small Tennessee town, great food, large portions, and the classic southern hospitality. Absolutely a go to

Small and difficult to find parking sometimes
I was there on March 21st, during the Chocolate Gravy Festival weekend. I had a BLT; the bacon was limp, the sandwich was just meh, and so were the fries. They don't serve breakfast all day, even though there was a sign that said they did. The waitress paid more attention to my male friend than me, for example, asking only him if he wanted dessert. It could be that it was a festival weekend, but the other local diners seemed to still maintain good service and tasty food throughout the weekend, so I don't really see that as an acceptable reason...
We were there on March 21st while visiting Celina for the Chocolate Gravy Festival. I noticed a sign that said that breakfast was served all day. Yay for me because I like breakfast at dinner time.
And then we were told by the waitress that breakfast was not served all day. **Sigh**
So, I ordered a BLT. I was with a (male) friend who seemed to get all of our waitress' attention. I'm guessing she thought (rightly so, in this case) that he was paying, but maybe not be so obvious about your target audience. She seemed young, though, so maybe she's just learning the finesse of dealing with customers to get the best tips.
Anyway, the BLT was not that great. And, I mean, it's a BLT. We're not talking very sophisticated food here. The bacon was limp, not crisp at all, and there was very little of it. The sandwich was just... meh. The fries were meh as well.
My friend was asked if he wanted dessert. He had it; it was a caramel pie, I think.
I don't know, it was just disappointing. Also, after being at other diners during the weekend, it was obvious the food here was comparatively sub-par.
One thing, though: the parking is fine. Crossing the street in Celina is not like running across 42nd St. in NYC. You can park anywhere in the square and get to the restaurant just fine.
The coffee was the worst I ever had
New owners are doing a great job. Much better.
