Centerville has its historic catfish and barbecue, but the Mason Jar is possibly the best overall food in town. Nothing on the menu disappoints. Plan to top off your meal by going next door to the Local for some of the best ice cream you’ll find anywhere.

Fantastic menu... My husband's favorite is the grilled broccoli & grilled buffalo chicken tenders. We also love the keto burgers & the salads! Highly recommended anytime of the day, any day off the week!

Look high for the sign, it’s way up on the second story. We arrived late so we thought we might get rushed in and out. Not at all. Waitress was friendly and checked on us often. We had hot ham & cheese with onion rings and hamburger with salad. All toppings and the salad were very fresh and plentiful. Onion rings were crispy out and soft inside. Burger (wasn’t asked cook temp) was well done and seasoned well. Really wanted to try the Keto Burger but waitress county answer whether the egg would be hard fried or over medium with a runny middle, which is a must for me so I just stuck with the traditional burger. Even though there was only one other patron; the sound from the kitchen was quite loud (food prep; not chatter). Not sure I’d want to dine in while it was full.

The Mason Jar is one of my favorite local restaurants! Even though the burgers seem to be their specialty - My favorite on the menu is the buffalo honey wings! So you can't go wrong with either. You won't leave hungry!

The food and service is always great. Very friendly and staff will absolutely go out of their way to make sure you are fully satisfied. Portions are quite generous especially at a time when other places are trimming back so you definitely get your moneys worth and leave full everytime.

Literally THE BEST FOOD EVER!! Nostalgic and reminds me of grandmas home cooking! It has Every good comfort food you could want! The owner Kate is one of the most giving people I know and loves feeding and taking care of people. If you want an unforgettable food experience and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re right at home, go EAT THERE!

The BEST grilled or fried chicken salads!!! Everything is so fresh and the taste is amazing. The chicken melted on all the freshness is so good for lunch or dinner! Other good things are the fries, fried green tomatoes and ranch!

My wife and I couldn't even sit down without everyone in the whole place staring us down and making racist comments. Even the staff was just stand offish, so we left before we could even order.

My wife's black and I'm white and this place is not welcoming to biracial couples. You've been warned!
