Best ice cream destination ever! I visited based on a friend's recommendation, and it did not disappoint. In fact, I don't think I was quite ready. This place is so cool! The shop itself is HUGE with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. A playground and pavilion with even more seating is outside, and there's tons of parking. There's also a merchandise corner. The staff is kind, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. There is something for everyone here. I tried the coffee ice cream sample, and it was fantastic! (The only thing missing was a dairy-free ice cream option.) Other food and snack options were available.
Parking: Gravel parking lot in addition to a couple of paved parking spots right out in front of the building
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor playground and large lot with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating; great place for families to gather

LOVE supporting local businesses, one of the best ice cream shops I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in and smell the waffle bowls being made, you know you are in for something special. Perfect summer date day/night just outside the city with amazing ice cream and a very relaxed atmosphere both inside and outside with their picnic tables and wide open spaces.

Ice cream and the bbq pork with cheese sandwich hits the spot everytime. My kids are allergic to certain foods so they check to ensure the particular ice cream they want does not contain the allergen and then they get a fresh scoop in the back to avoid cross contamination. Great customer service. I highly recommend

I buy milk at the Gathering in Hiltons Virginia and I usually get two gallons a week and they run out quickly. I was out there today and they only had one pint of of strawberry and one quart of chocolate. So they need milk now. Thank you.

Decent locally made ice cream. The ice cream texture is great for the most part. Nice and creamy. Although a couple of bites of my cookies and cream was icey. My wife and I both got fudge brownie sundaes. The brownies were the best part for sure. I got cookies and cream and cookie dough. Both were severely lacking mix-ins and the cookies and cream was much more vanilla with a cookie dust swirl rather than a traditional either vanilla or Oreo ice cream with cookie chunks mixed throughout. My wife got salted caramel swirl and chocolate brownie batter. She said they both lacked flavor. For the area this is probably the best you'll find but overall this isn't that great of ice cream.

Just went to Nash Family Creamery for the first time. I made a point to make a stop since I was going to be in the "neighborhood." It did not disappoint! I had the toasted cheese, bacon, and peach preserves sandwich - yum! - and I was with enough friends to go in together to order a "cow trough" 👀🍨 It was hard to pick flavors because so many sounded good. I liked all the ones I was able to sample!
