Amazing! I had the crispy chicken sandwich, thick and juicy really delicious. Side was a mac and cheese, assuming gouda was the cheese so really really good. I had the Ranger jack drink from the bar, tasted like apple pie so so so good! Our waitress was amazing and happen to be our bartender as well! I will say the catfish dinner was lacking as far as size but still delicious! If you get the chicken tenders get prepared to take some home, they were more like 3 large chicken breast....
Whomever they have recently hired for the chef here, they’d better keep them. The food was phenomenal. Atmosphere is very comfy, modern, laid back. Pricing was a little high but oh so worth it. Venture out to this hidden gem. Beautiful scenery all around the restaurant.
Food was ok for a state park. I had the salmon and it was overcooked and covered in a bbq sauce. I ordered a baked potato and they came back and said they only had a loaded one. Weird. I would not order the salmon again. Everyone else enjoyed their food. They do not really offer any healthy options. The service is very slow so don’t go in a rush. It is a beautiful place and definitely would go and hike before or after your meal.
