I just went to Captain D's to order dinner. I was in line for over 20 minutes, at the order box got at least 10. No one was in front of me. I never even got to order my food. Not sure if they were taking breaks while on the clock or if they just didn't want to work tonight. However, the service was absolutely non-existent. After over 20 minutes I had enough and left. Super disappointed.

I ordered via uber eats .Called the restaurant as soon as the order was placed and asked for my fish on the sandwich to be cooked well and my okra. My butterfly shrimp app was the only thing that was fresh. The new shrimp app, the sandwich , the okra .. was all either old, greasy , or sloppily made. I know whomever boxed it up could look at that food & tell it should have been tossed & still boxed up & sent it out.

OMG! I haven't had Captain D's in years since in my hometown they don't give you the little crispy pieces or fish crumbles that are under the fish at the ones I've visited. But this Captain D's on Riverside/Kraft was sooooo good and fresh on this Memorial Day! I forgot it was a holiday and dropped by for lunch. The young lady at the counter was pleasant and not annoyed that she was working on a holiday. The young lady who brought my food to my table was very pleasant as well. The staff, the food, the wait time everything was great on this day. Thank you again ladies!

The food was good but the rice that went with my salmon dinner was dry and taste less. I won't get that again. The dining area was dirty. Messy tables, booths and gross floors. They really need someone just to maintain the dining area.

This was the worst food I’ve ever eaten from a Captain D’s restaurant. It took so long to place an order and the wait time was long too. It wasn’t many customers there either. The worst part was the food. It was overcooked and cooked in old tasting burnt oil. It was really bad. I regretted ever going here. Food cost too much money to not be enjoyable. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.
One employee is actually using a walker. Cold food stale bun for sandwich.

I went down there 4/21/25, it was the most delighted service I’ve ever had. The young lady at the register was so patient and helped me throughout the order. To make this experience even better the food was extremely delicious and I can’t wait to come back again. The whole team should be recognized for their amazing service and the fabulous neatness of the dining room.

Don't waste your time or money at the Captain D's on Kraft Street! It's run by a bunch of lazy people, who do not know how to treat customers or prepare food to edible standards. The food was absolutely horrible, portion sizes for a $13 meal was that of a kid's size meal. Petty! Eat here at your own risk, but you can't say you weren't warned after reading this review. I'll never be back!!
