I always forget about this place, because it's pretty nondescript. When I remember, we go and they have never disappointed. The gyros are spot on. The kids have the hot dogs sometimes and never complain.

I came in with a bigger order around 430pm on Sunday. No one else inside. I started to place my orders, without adequate time to read the menu. I added 2 orders of onion rings a few minutes after they started the orders and the guy chastised me and told me they needed the whole order all at once. I told him to forget it and he did it anyway but I was so uncomfortable by rhen I just wanted to leave. I added a piece of baklava to my order, the tiniest single piece for 3.69 and hot home and its wet and soggy. That's not baklava! This place used to be so hood and I could count on the food to be hood and they were always so nice. I won't visit again after this. Wish I had spent my $75 elsewhere.

My whole experience at Chicago Gyro was great. The food is so good I have eaten there two nights in a row! I had the chicken kabobs and Greek salad. Everyone was so pleasant, friendly. I highly recommend you pay them a visit!!

I was waiting in the parking lot to meet my niece here, we’re we’re going to go in and eat when she arrives but I went in early as we arrived first, went in to use the restroom and this man was extremely rude to me, asking why I could come in to use the restroom at his store and not get anything, questioning if I was eating next door at the cicis or what I was doing in the parking lot, had he have waited instead of being rude to me he’d have very shortly seen me walk back into eat with my family. Extremely rude.Edit: it won’t let me reply, but I didn’t not come in without speaking I walked in the door and you said hi how are you and I said good do you have a bathroom, immediately rolled your eyes and said yeh it’s in the back, as I was walking back out I said thank you and you leaned over on the counter and went to questioning me about if I had come from the cicis and what I was doing. Nothing in my review was a lie.
