From the moment you walk into Dae Bak Chophouse, you immediately feel like you’re stepping into home cooking. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of heart. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner’s daughter, and she shared how her mom cooks everything herself and pours so much love and intention into every dish. That alone made the experience feel so personal and special.
We ordered the beef bulgogi, fried chicken wings, oodeng, and egg rolls — and every single thing was phenomenal. The beef bulgogi was flavorful and tender, and the fried chicken wings were perfectly crispy and seasoned so well. But baby, the oodeng… let me just say, it was so delicious. I would honestly come back just for that alone. It was rich, comforting, and unforgettable. The egg rolls were also amazing — fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.
This place is more than just a restaurant, it’s an experience rooted in family, love, and authentic cooking. You can taste the care in every bite. I will absolutely be coming back, and I highly recommend Dae Bak Chophouse to anyone looking for food that truly feels like home.

Absolute best lil dining spot! The lady working behind the counter was incredibly kind, and the food was absolutely delicious! I’d definitely recommend the spicy beef soup!

I had the Jampong, it's a delicious broth that feels like it could cure sickness topped with egg, noodles, zucchini, and fish cakes. It came with kimchi on the side. So good in flavor and price.

It was a cozy, traditional Korean restaurant. Small place, but they cook with love. I got the spicy pork bulgolgi, it was delicious, spicy, and wonderfully tender. Comes with some good banchan and a good serving of rice, I will very much be returning

We ordered the Spicy Bulgogi & Japchae today. Our food was delicious, made fresh and of superior quality. This is the BEST Japchae that I have found in Tennessee!
Yummm! I’ve been craving authentic Jampong, and I finally found it here. For some reason, there’s always something missing when I order it from bigger Korean restaurants. It’s true what they say—if you want authentic Asian dishes, go to a small, family-owned restaurants. If I crave Jampong again, I’m definitely coming back.

A friend of mine suggested this little eatery, and it was AMAZING! I love a good Bulgogi, and this was just perfection. The family that runs this little place is incredible, so be sure to go and say hi… and get some of that super tasty food! I WILL be back!
Everything was excellent, seasoned perfectly. My family ordered vegan and my parents meat based dishes. We were all happy with our options. They have one highchair and one booster seat for kids. The food is served in styrofoam except the stew.
Vegetarian options: Nearly every dish can be made vegan. Kimchi is made without fish sauce. The vegan options are explained on Facebook, though could be better labeled in the restaurant on the menus.
