This place was a disaster from the moment I walked in. The food tasted like it had lost a fight with a microwave hours before it ever reached my table — dry, bland, and nowhere near worth the price. I’ve had gas station BBQ that put this to shame.

But honestly, the food wasn’t even the worst part. The people were.
Dealing with the owner was like dealing with someone who actively resents the existence of customers. Every question felt like an inconvenience, every request was met with pure attitude.

And then there was Carolyn.
I don’t know what role she plays there, but if it’s “ruining the experience,” she deserves Employee of the Year. She was unbelievably rude — eye rolls, snappy responses, the whole cold-shoulder performance like she’s auditioning for a villain role in a low-budget soap opera. I’ve never encountered someone so committed to making customers feel unwelcome.

By the time I left, I felt like I needed to sage myself to get the negativity off.

Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of BBQ places that serve actual food and don’t treat their customers like an inconvenience.

It's usually hard to find good bbq around here, but Dickeys is by far one of the best in town. Greeted by friendly staff, letting you taste test before purchasing. The place itself is clean and setting very friendly. Food was great, well proportioned with a variety to choose from for the money. Mac and cheese was fire with no burnt or crunchy pieces in it (I hate that).

I ordered 3meat plate( beef brisket sliced, jalapeño cheddar kielbasa and turkey), 2 pulled pork sandwiches. The brisket was old and hard to chew, the turkey was ok, jalapeño cheddar kielbasa was ok. I didn't get the 2 pulled pork sandwiches I ordered. The fried okra was good and Mac and cheese was tasteless. This will be the last time I will order from this establishment. Save your money.

I travel a lot frequent Dickey's all over. This location the girls were polite and the food was fast (I was the only one in there), but taking the ice cream out was a big mistake. I understand with Covid you did this, but you never brought it back. Your prices were always high, but at least you got a dessert with it. Now it's not a good value. I moved here and won't be back as it's just not worth it and I can see by your lack of customers that others feel the same way.

Found plastic in my Mac and cheese which led me to believe they have bagged Mac and cheese and brisket was dry! I will never eat at these bbq chains again it’s clearly not worth the money I am a east Nashville native moved up here to Clarksville 4 years ago and every food establishment I’ve been to up here is trash the workers have no sincerity or treat customers with respect I guess because they’re making low wages in Clarksville I’ll just stick to my favorite bbq joint in my city try Jack Cawthon if anyone visits Nashville they give you your money’s worth and the meats are above average!

Quite possibly my new go to barbecue in Clarksville. Sliced brisket sandwich with a mixture of sweet and hot sauce was amazing! Very nice staff and cold AC!

I was skeptical at first, but after we walked in and smelled the barbecue, I figured it had to be good. I ordered a drink and the 2 meat menu options with brisket and sausage with potato salad and green beans. It also came with butter grill toasted bread. My wife ordered the chopped brisket. Everything tasted absolutely delicious, and it filled us up. On top of this, the price was very reasonable and the staff were super nice. We will be back.

The pulled pork sandwich featured, tender, and juicy meat, making it a stand out dish accompanying the sandwich was nicely fried okra which added a delightful crunch to the meal. The coleslaw provided a refreshing contrast perfectly complimenting the rich flavors of the pork to top it all off the spicy barbecue sauce was the bees knees. The combination created a delicious and satisfying dining experience.
