Great sandwiches! We had the Beef on Weck, Italian, and muffaletta. The Italian was our favorite, but they were all fantastic! The owners are very nice as well, they really seemed to care about their customers. I also asked about large orders for work, while they said they can fill them, they request a week notice (likely less if its less people), just so they can get enough meats and bake enough bread. She also mentioned for call in orders to call in a little before they open, as they are often too busy to be able to answer the phone. This is literally a "mom and pop" shop.

Take it from a former Western New Yorker.
Do yourself a favor and get the Beef on Weck w/ horseradish.
If you are disappointed, it’s your fault.

AMAZING! The Ruben sandwich was the nest I have ever had! Not only was the meat sliced perfectly, the bread was soft and fresh. The little shopping area was adorable as well. I plan to be a regular.
Outstanding !!! My new spot for Pastrami...

Will definitely be going back! The nicest people! They’re so nice it’s like you’ve known them for years! The best Connoli I’ve had in years and got fresh made Italian sausage! And some delicious onion cheese! Going back for one of their subs they only use the best ingredients and they’re about the same price as subway (yuck) I can’t highly recommend them enough. They’re at 120 Franklin St you won’t be disappointed check them out!
Vegetarian options: Am not a vegetarian but did see vegetarian items on the menu.

Break up with the sandwich food chains and eat local. Seriously, it’s fantastic. I work downtown and this place was recommended to me by several coworkers. I went yesterday and it was fantastic. The lady who took my order was so caring and courteous. The food was quickly made and was delicious. I’m eating there again for lunch, today! I highly recommend.

This place is a huge must go. I am not a big fan of sub style places. It is a fine art. This is one magical place that knows that art. Even before eating the food, I knew I loved it. The setting is perfect, the staff was friendly and once I did eat. I was in heaven. It reminded me of back home "up north." I had a friendly conversation with them as, sure enough, the food was amazing because in New York, they know how to make subs(hoagies). It was lovely to talk to people who know New England in all its beauty. To eat in a place I instantly fell in love with because it reminds me of "home." The food solidified the love of a place I highly recommend. My husband was so jealous, he saw my sandwich and ordered an extra to go. This is an absolute must go!
Kid-friendliness: The seating inside is either a long picnic table or a bar table. I would feel completely comfortable bringing my child here.

My Family and I were recently effected by the tornado 12/09/23 here in Clarksville. I had my mind set on a beef and weck sandwich all day while dealing with cliam adjusters and clean up. I went to Fanelli' deli around 15:00 (3:00pm) they were cleaning and closing the kitchen for the day. I stood in the doorway not sure to enter. The owners/staff welcomed me in and explained there hours of operation. I explained my recent chain of events and the need to cure my families craving. They made me 2 Beef on Wecks and 1 Italian sub with out hesitation. It made my families day. Great people, amazing food and service. Thank you Fanelli's deli.

I came in right after 2pm to grab a sandwich. I was excited to finally try this place since it’s always closed when I’m downtown. Now I understand some of the reviews of which I read while standing in the deli waiting for my sandwich.Apparently they close the kitchen at 2pm but I wouldn’t know that because the handwritten paper sign on the door was blocked by the door being propped open. When I went in to order my excitement was immediately greeted with “I guess you can order, my grill is still open!” To which I replied that I only wanted a turkey and cheese sandwich. A cold one. The guy was SO RUDE. Now I know why others mention -this is Tennessee, not New York. If he wants his business to thrive he may want to rethink his comments and attitude. The women too. The business doesn’t seem to be thriving either. She was insanely irritated that I ONLY wanted a cold sandwich. I told her what I wanted on it and she practically made fun of me for not wanting other additional toppings. Okay…I added a few veggies. I jokingly asked her not to judge me and that I didn’t like mayo or mustard.I look down at the iPad that was defaulted to a 20% tip (love it when they do that!) and all the additional toppings she forced me to add were $.50. Nope, asked her to remove. $15+ for the dang sandwich. FOR REAL?? oh, it comes with chips and a drink. I didn’t get a choice on that either. Then the guy starts making my sandwich. They both proceeded to openly discuss “what SHE wanted” on my apparently boring sandwich. The owners were not quiet about their distaste for my turkey and cheese sandwich.Sandwich is done. He drops it on the floor and picks it up as if I didn’t see it. It was wrapped so no biggie, I’m easy going. He bags it up and I leave as quickly as possible.Sandwich was decent enough but NOT worth the high costs. If you have to charge your customers those prices to cover your overhead, don’t put a restaurant/deli in a prime downtown location.I guarantee if their attitudes don’t change they’ll be closed before the end of 2024.

Great food. Quick. I believe family owned too. Very friendly folks. Sandwich flavors far exceed expectations. Would come back to show friends in the future. Hope they continue to do well.

Love this place and it's less expensive than the grocery store at this point. Excellent people, clean, great atmosphere.
