Granny's delivered the chicken fried steak of my dreams--tender & tasty. The mac & cheese was unbelievably creamy & cheesy, plus a little pepper to make it pop. I also had yams and the sweet, simple flavor was just right. The man whom I assume is the owner was kind, patient, and rightfully proud of his recipes. I tip my hat to you, sir! Definitely worth going out of your way to get this soul food!

The name of this local business fits perfectly. I got the 10 dark piece a la carte, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Everything was made in house and with that “soul” flavor you find at big momma’s house. There are many other options as well. this location is not ideal for dining in but soul food should be consumed at home!!! 8/10.

$22 dollars for cafeteria food. Playing ping pong with the prices.
The food was ok, an the service staff was friendly. It wasn’t quick - but it says that on the door you come in. My beef is that we were charged twice as much as we expected. Things were rung up for a lot more than what is posted, Things that we thought we were ordering as a one price meal including 2 sides were delivered as a larger entree with 2 alacarte sides. Two $13 lunches cost $52 . I did ask “is this right” and was assured it was. They had a lot of obvious regulars from Fort Campbell, so I’m sure the usually deliver satisfactorily. We were passers-thru and it was just crazy expensive.

I’ve dined at this establishment three times, with each visit spaced months apart. While the food is delicious, I'm hesitant to return. It's disappointing because, as a fellow small business owner, I value supporting local. Upon arrival, we're consistently greeted warmly by the server behind the counter. However, the individual who I presume to be the owner often appears either impolite or indifferent toward us. It's disheartening to feel overlooked, especially when observing their cordial interactions with other customers. What's particularly notable is that every black customer that walks in is greeted by him. This experience leaves me questioning whether our ethnicity plays a role, given that my husband and I are Asian. Therefore, I find it difficult to recommend this establishment.

The service was amazing, the food was some of the best I’ve had in Tennessee. It’s also made to order, we tried everything we could and everything was amazing.
