We went to dinner last night and were greeted by friendly staff and promptly seated. The restaurant was packed and the food took a little while to come out, but was well worth it. The Kimo's Chicken and Chicken Katsu were delicious. Highly suggest this restaurant and will come again

the entrees portion were big. good tasted good except the poke bowl was very blan. mostly rice and veggies, the tuna had a little bit of sesame oil but that's all. mac salad is good but the rice was very dry.

We had the Mahi Mahi with Lemon Butter Sauce, and it was simply incredible. Would absolutely come back if it wasn't so far away.

We stopped by Kimo’s before going to a paint & sip event around the corner. We loved it!! We started with the nachos. I’d agree with another reviewer that the chips weren’t good…but everything else was spot on!! We were glad we’d otherwise ordered light, because they were filling. The tuna was extraordinary in the poke bowl. Also the Caesar salad with mahi mahi was amazing. Fries were just alright. Oh…beer was good too. We can’t wait to go back! PS- the industrial look was cool, too.

Great food, great service. It's a very nice change from the regular restaurants. It makes the hassle of going downtown worth it. We will definitely be going back.

After finally checking this place out after reading reviews and seeing the fantastic pics of the food online I'm sorry to say I was extremely underwhelmed by my experience here. The food presentation wise looks fantastic but was sadly colder than it was warm, and for being one of only two tables occupied in the restaurant this shouldn't have been the case. I honestly got the impression that the food had been cooked hours beforehand and just warmed up in the microwave, not what I'd expect from a $17 Plate. Also quality wise the "Beef" that is served with the Chicken and Beef Dish I ordered was a paper thin cut of beef that had the consistency of tough shoe leather and was fattier than it was meaty. I would like to go back and try it again hoping that this was just an "Off Night" as some of their other dishes further intrigue me like The Loco Moco, but gambling another $65 on Dinner For Two when there are SO MANY other choices in Clarksville is definitely gonna take much pondering.

The menu online is not what is offered in the restaurant. I was looking forward to the salad with chicken and strawberries they had no soda options. We started with the nacho appetizer. They came on a long skinny platter. The chips reminded me of the super cheap round Tostitos from Sams. Covered in a paste like substance that we assumed was the salsa. There was a small amount of pork on the bottom there a tiny amount of scallops, tomatoes and a drizzle of sour cream. Overall pretty disappointing. The fries were soggy shoe string about a handful. The beef and chicken were slightly over cooked and not very tasty. Nice portion of white rice that was good. There was about an ice cream scoop of coleslaw that want to bad. We had the macadamia chocolate brownie. It was about a 2 inch square brownie with literally one macadamia nut crushed and sprinkled on top with about 1/8 cup ice cream drizzled very little with chocolate and caramel sauce. The brownie was the best part of the meal, but disappointing with the lack of macadamia nuts. The brownies was very good but only about two bite fulls and for $6 kinda disappointing. They only have Pepsi products and out of Dr. pepper. The sweet tea was not southern on sweet but was good. Overall would not return.

I visited Kimo’s on a moderately busy Friday evening. The greeter was friendly and very attentive, and seated us within 3 minutes. The atmosphere inside is more what you would expect for downtown Clarksville, historic building converted to bar/ pub, rather than a Hawaiian vibe, but that’s ok...it’s the food and service that really counts. Regarding the service, it was good. The wait staff was attentive and we didn’t have to wait long to be served and further waited on. With respect to the food, we ordered Hawaiian Nachos, followed by an order each of Kimo’s Chicken and Kahlua Pork and Cabbage. For sides we both ordered the Mac Salad. The positive: all dishes are generously portioned, cooked well, and very attractively plated. The food was fresh-tasting and clearly made to order. The price was fair also considering the portion size. The critical: the Hawaiian Nachos, though generously covered in pork, cheese, and other ingredients, use what seems to be a very cheap cheese sauce; like something you’d find on gas station nachos. The pork fat rendered in the cooking process was unfortunately put on the plate as well, making the bottom layer of the nachos incredibly soggy with liquid pork fat. With regard to the Kimo’s Chicken and Kahlua Pork and Cabbage, both were a bit under seasoned for what I would consider to be an authentic Hawaiian dish. Overall, the food was more like something I’d throw together in my own kitchen with basic ingredients as opposed to something uniquely “Hawaiian”. I don’t regret eating at Kimo’s, the food was good and the service was solid considering how busy it was, but I know Kimo’s can do better. I know it’s hard to please the middle-American palate, which tends to blander (less spicy, or seasoned) food, but I’d recommend that Kimo’s look to improve the flavor profile of these dishes with a more authentic Hawaiian flavor, in addition to replacing the cheap cheese sauce and fixing the errors in the plating process that put excess liquid fat on a plate. 3 solid stars for this effort, but I know Kimo’s can do better. I’ll visit again.

I was really disappointed

I miss when Kimo’s would come on base with the food truck, but having this brick&mortar place downtown is even better! The food is always amazing. The staff was great and the live music was entertaining too! Glad to see the progress and will continue to visit!
