This is my second visit here in about two and a half weeks. The first time, I had the brisket while hanging out with my husband; the second time, I ordered a burger while catching up with my girlfriends. Both times, the food and service were absolutely excellent.

I didn’t realize they closed at 6 on Sundays—we were just sitting there gabbing away. At most places, staff would start cleaning around you or give you “the look.” Here, I felt like we could have stayed another two hours and no one would have minded. I only realized they were closed when I overheard them telling another couple that had just walked in, yet they still tried to see if they could get them something. Who does that?! Mind you this was like 25 past close.

Even as we apologized and gathered our things, the staff reassured us we were fine and told us to take our time. That kind of hospitality is rare. This is officially my go-to Clarksville barbecue spot.

This place is a must if you like bbq, great southern Mac n’ Cheese and absolutely amazing shakes! Not only are the owners so helpful and friendly, but they speak the truth about their food. Tonight I had the mix trio tacos (brisket, chicken & pork) and they were so delicious. They had avocado, cabbage and a lime sauce and of course bbq sauce. For my sides I had Mac n cheese and collard greens. The foot was hot and brought to our table quickly. My husband had the Mr Nasty burger which he said was so filling and tasty. For his side he had fries and man let me tell you these fries were so good and hot!! They had a seasoning on them that was phenomenal! For dessert we shared the Oreo Banana milkshake and boy I can’t say enough about the milkshake it was like none that I have ever tasted before. Had my roommate pick up dinner for me. I ordered a pulled pork combo and an additional sandwich with a banana pudding shake. The meat was ok at best, no smokey flavor; the sauce tasted like a vinegar base and I would been better to purchase sauce from a store. They didn't have baked beans so I settled for fries and okra. I spoke with the assistant manager and told him they all had a strong taste like the sides were frozen or store bought. The assistant manager told me I was right and they were frozen. Heck I can go to the store and get more for less and just air fry it if in grease and have left overs. My dogs wouldn't even eat the okra. The seasoning on the fry peiceses was nasty. The banana pudding shake also had no actual banana or wafers in it, not even any whip cream and definitely not worth 9 bucks. All in all I paid almost 30 dollars for crap that I threw most away. The assistant manager said he would replace my sides but that would be it. Well bless his heart.

We recently ordered 5 pounds of BBQ with three sides from this restaurant, and everything was incredible! The BBQ was packed with flavor, and the sides were the perfect complement. The slaw especially stood out—so fresh and delicious, it was easily one of the best we’ve ever had. On top of the amazing food, the owner was so personable and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back to dine in, and we’ll be recommending this spot to all of our friends!

Food portions were on the small side for fries and brisket. The brisket was greasy but very good. Received a small portion of fries which were also good. The Mac n cheese was not a favorite of my kids, baked beans were okay. The BBQ sauce was delicious, I believe the regular one. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming while the restaurant was clean! $15 per plate for the portions is a bit high.

My husband and I were just at Legends for the first time, and yall. I got the brisket sandwich, my husband got the dry rub ribs, and sides of baked beans, greens, hush puppies, and okra.

Now my husband smokes brisket by which I judge all other brisket by, and this stuff was legit! And the ribs…omg the ribs. Didn’t even need sauce, but Legends makes several flavors of BBQ sauce. My favorite is the Peach Bourbon. My husband got the pineapple habenero, and we got some OG. It was so good you wanna reach out and slap your mama.

The portions, especially for the price, were very generous. The atmosphere is super nice, and the GM Christine is as sweet as she can be.

We are already planning our next visit so we can give their desserts a try…

I had the brisket based on the staff recommendation. It was ok but needed some sauce. I also had the seasoned tater rots. They were ok but I wanted ketchup with them. Unfortunately no sauce or ketchup was to be found. Also reduce stars for the tipping request with no service and the extra charge for using a card with no mention of that charge posted that I saw. This was my first visit and based on that I probably won't make a return visit if I am passing through that area.

**update 8/9/25** I ate there again this Saturday, and the food was amazing again. The manager came out and greeted me. They even gave us free dessert for the wait on the food. That is how you keep customers!
