After finding Rudy’s this past summer, we drove from Southern Illinois to eat here this morning. However, when we got here at 9:00 am it was locked up tight - no note on the door, no explanation on Facebook. We loved it when we ate here last time - really disappointed that we drove all this way to find it closed.

So glad they were able to reopen in a new location after losing their old location when the property owner decided to turn it into the 50th car wash in town. The food and service here has always been excellent, price is beyond reasonable. They have a regular menu, breakfast all day, and a traditional meat and 3 option as well. Always happy when I leave. This is my go to, I come here with my wife, my son, my dad, and would bring anyone I want to sit and talk with comfortably without pressure. I notice that a couple of the negative reviews are from people that post a lot of negative reviews.

We will never step foot back into this place again.....the hostess was very rude...we came in no tables were available, she told us it would be a few min....so we got a menu and looked to get a head start.....as our table was being wiped off, someone came up to pay...mind u we were standing at the door waiting on our table....she made a rude comment about us to the customer paying and didn't try to hide it....about us "just standing there" what were we suppose to do? our table was being cleaned....then she stated to us to "move over there" it was no different than what we were doing....making comments to a customer about another customer isn't professional and her rudeness isn't either...we will not be back and I'll make sure we tell our friends who frequent the restaurant regularly and i will post this to my personal page....This lady was working Sunday morning about 9:30am, I don't know her name....this diner will never see us again. Rudy needs to do better with his employees....

Pretty good breakfast for a decent price. Shannon is a great waitress with a remarkable personality. If you're in the area, this is a solid choice for food. 10/10 will eat here again.

I recently visited Rudy's Diner, hoping for a pleasant meal, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the food was okay, the atmosphere was overshadowed by an unsettling incident. I witnessed what appeared to be the owner's wife behaving in an extremely disrespectful manner towards another customer. Her mannerisms were aggressive and distasteful, creating a tense and uncomfortable environment for everyone present. Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. While I can't speak to the overall quality of the diner, this particular incident left a lasting negative impression. I would hesitate to return or recommend Rudy's Diner based on this experience.

Rudy’s is mine and my wife’s absolute favorite restaurant in Clarksville. The food is fantastic and the service is ALWAYS top-notch. Miss Rose is one of the sweetest, kindest, and best waitresses I’ve ever encountered in any restaurant anywhere. You just can’t get any better than Rudy’s!

Been eating at Rudy’s since 91 im so glad they are back open the food is always the best and the employees are great Donna and Rudy runs a tight ship and expects their employees to treat everyone the same and the don’t put up with rudeness.
