We've been Taco Johns fans for generations. When the original closed over 20 years ago, we made pilgrimages to Kentucky to the remaining locations, and then Antioch and Dover TN when they opened there. I'd love to see this one stay open. The food is hot and fresh and still has the signature flavors. Employees have been great and I've never had any issues with service here. If you've never tried Taco Johns or remember the long long ago, please support this restaurant.
My only complaint is they can't seem to get the ingredients properly distributed in a burrito. They're wrapped tight, but I'm not wild about getting a bite of lettuce, then beans, etc. but I'm dealing with that because everything else has been so on point.

Service is very good. Food is average. Menu is a bit unimaginative when you compare it with say, Taco Bell. We both ordered taco salads and used the kiosk menu to add some additional lettuce to each to make them a little bulkier! The store should have a salsa/pepper bar so the diner can personalize his/her meal. This is the only Taco John's remaining in Clarksville. The location on Fort Campbell Boulevard is closed and up for sale. The other location on Riverview Drive is being remodeled into a Panera Bread. This is a good place to stop for a quick Mexican fix.

Drive thru is pretty quick and the food is good for the money. If you're lucky like me you can feed 2 for under $15 which doesn't happen much these days.
You really cannot go wrong here! If you've got the munchies or just plain hungry, they've got you covered. Boss burrito w/chicken is ??

Beef & cheese in the taco was like mush & it's always half filled. Side chips tasted burnt this time & they don't give out the green & red chips anymore. This is probably my 4th time. I tried. Gave it the benefit of a doubt. Unfortunately no more.

This is a nice little restaurant. It was very clean, good service. I had a $1 taco and a big burrito. It was fresh. The flavor was a bit bland. But at least they didn't have too much salt like everywhere else. Maybe you could cook your meat with some cumen, garlic, and some Ortega chilies to give it an irresistible taste. The prices were very low.
