UME Sushi&Seafood Buffet

Umm new owners...no crab legs...no oysters..will update after meal. Not good enough to drive across town. 😕 highly disappointed

There is definitely a big difference from when UME first opened. Upon visiting today, when you walk in, it doesn't smell the cleanest. However, the presentation of the food looks good, but the taste is bland and you can taste that its been sitting out for awhile. Also, alot of the menu has been eliminated including the crablegs and ice cream. They are under new management but not sure if this restaurant can last operating like this.

The food was old and didn't have varietis. Never go here again. Not recomand. Didn't deserve the money.

First time we ate there and it will be the last. The food was terrible. Crab was over cooked to the point the meat was pretty much gone. The general tso chicken was so over cooked there was no meat in the middle it was a hard crust. Everything we grabbed was over cooked. The ice cream was great value containers of ice cream from Walmart in a case with ice. It was melted when we opened them. The coconut cookies was soggy like they had been sitting in water. We couldn’t get anyone to come to the hibachi to cook. Not to mention the waitress kept repeatedly leaning across our plates as we were eating and would bring the dirty plates a cross the plates we were eating from. She was really rude. Never kept our drinks refilled and would get an attitude if we asked for refills. This place is absolutely terrible. Oh and they’re not really kid friendly food wise. I get most kids like chicken nuggets and fries but not all do. Especially when the nuggets can be used as hockey pucks.

The food was very bland and lacked flavor. Many plates were old and dry! The restaurant was hot and stuffy, some areas were closed off, and the hygiene was terrible. The sushi variety and freshness were very poor. It is so sad that ume has become like this. The owner who took over the restaurant has been claiming to reform and upgrade the restaurant, but he completely destroyed and ruined the restaurant. The person who seated us was wearing headphones and was on the phone. The new waitress also had a terrible attitude. She was always chatting on her phone. When we asked her about it, she left very rudely with disdain in her eyes. The staff I knew have left this restaurant one after another, and I am sure we will never come back because ume has become the worst buffet restaurant in Tennessee.

No one eat here there's a good chance you'll end up with food poisoning they don't clean out their trays they just refill them and they had some stuff sitting for a while when they just refilled them. Definitely breaking some health code violations

Food was old and hard. Lot of empty pans with no one filling. Hibachi area was filled with fresh food but no one in the area to cook it. Melted butter had bits of food floating in it. Price not worth the selection or quality of food

It’s went down. I understand they don’t do crab legs anymore. But they’ve took so much more off the bar. Plus they are so slow now, food just sits on the bar n is old and dry. Very disappointing, use to be me n Moms spot. The owners were chillin n eating watermelon, weird. Sure it’ll be under new management soon or a new restaurant.

Paid for the buffet and crab legs $21+. This was the most disgusting food I’ve had. The crab legs have been sitting in the water for a long time there was no flavor and mushy. Everything on the food bar was old, dried or burnt from just sitting under the heaters. Save your money and don’t go here.

I would rather wear a 40lb weighted fur coat infested with fleas in the middle of July with no water or food for a week than ever go back and eat there

Arrived at 12 pm. Everything that should have been hot (temperature) was either stone cold or room temp. It was scary. Almost like they had used leftovers from the night before. Very concerning.

Large selection of great food definitely won't leave hungry!! The hibachi is great
