Out of all the Mexican food options, this is our go to for California style Mexican food. We lived in San Diego and after moving to the south roughly 15 years ago. Its difficult to find SoCal style Mexican. This place never disappoints.
We frequent West Coast Tacos at least once a week for lunch. I usually purchase a Mexican Coke for my drink and request a cup for ice. The water cups are tiny and super flimsy so I usually ask for a regular cup. I don't mind paying for the cup but I was charged $3.07 for a cup in addition to the bottled Coke. That is ridiculous. I am not drinking any of your fountain drinks. I don't have an issue paying a small fee for the cup but to charge a customer full price...
Used to come here when they opened back in 2018, and it was excellent. Unfortunately, the quality has declined and prices went up. The shrimp used to taste fresh and flavorful. It is always extremely tough and anything but seasoned. The menu prices online also differ from in store. I ordered the shrimp fajitas as they are advertised as 9.99 online, but payed 12.99 in store. Additionally, it is obvious the “guacamole” is packaged avocado. It is basically puréed. No tomatoes,...
