Yellowtail Robata Grill & Sushi

Medium sized, pleasant venue with robata (fireside cooking) dishes and a TV playing sports over the bar (not my thing, but great if you like it). Food is absolutely fantastic - every dish we've tried has been scrumptious, even simple things like a tempura shrimp app. Prices are comfortable for most. They have great desert selections too, but the entrees are the main draw. Highly recommended.

Lived in Clarksville longer than yellowtail has been a restaurant and tonight was my first’s time at the restaurant. Can’t say enough of how surprised I was. We enjoyed everything but the hard wood seats. This will be a easy repeat.

Everything was really good. Our server was excellent. The owner is very friendly and just awesome to deal with. We had a party of 10, which is hard to accommodate, especially without a reservation. The staff did an amazing job getting us seated in like 15 min. Drunken Noodles were really good. Sushi was great, and the hibachi was great. We will definitely be back

Ben took excellent care of us at the bar on a crowded Sunday night! Food was excellent - very fresh and plentiful. Great prices and nice wine pours. Looking forward to returning.

Today is my birthday and I decided to come to yellowtail. I usually go to the one on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard but I decided to change it up and come to the one on tiny town. I literally sit there for over 20 to 30 minutes before a waiter even decided to come over and ask for our drinks. I decided to go up to the host and let the host know that nobody has been to our table so he went and get the Waiter she apologized and told us that she was new so we decided to give her a chance. Well, another 30 minutes roll around and we are waiting on our appetizer to come out. I’m seeing other tables that came in after us get their appetizer. She then comes back to the table and still don’t ask us are we ready to order our food? so I got very upset and went and asked for a supervisor, which the supervisor did let me know that the waiter was new however, if she does NOT know what she is doing maybe she needs to train a little more with someone because that set the tone for me. I’ve never had a problem any other time I have came to yellowtail, but this time really hurt my feelings and I will not be back. Not even one waiter came and even ASK are y’all OK or checked on us or anything? I just don’t understand out of all the waiters why do we get the black girl? Was it because we was black And then they put us in the back like how rude!!! Never again!!!
