If you guys are closed, you should say that on Google… it says you’re open Saturdays 10 to 5 yet when I walk up, you’re closed, the lights are off and that makes zero sense.
Unable to get a decaf coffee. Sandwiches were mostly bread with rotten spinach and lettuce. They forgot my iced coffe and when I did ask for it and got it, it was suppose to be dark roast but looked like milk. I came here last year and thoroughly enjoyed it but not today.

Not really sure what to say as I've had an alright time here the few times I've gone, but the barista, who I can't blame if what they said was true, was having what can only be described as a bit of a breakdown upon entering. It was not busy in the least but they were cursing and acting kind of strange. The only two other customers there were a little shocked it seemed. After ordering, the barista, whispering curses under their breath the whole time, then told me to not tip as the owner takes their tips. Again, not sure if this was true, but the person was obviously pissed for a, supposedly, good reason. The only reason I am posting now, a week later, is that they said they were going to quit so I hope they have. Supposedly others are considering quitting too. They did say they were hiring...Having heard that the owner is a bit rude to say the least, I don't doubt this allegation, but i also dont know the truth of it. Just reporting what i experienced which was probably the strangest interaction ive ever had at a restaurant or coffee shop as a customer. The poor kid probably shouldve handled it better but also probably wasnt expecting to get their tips taken. Would love to know the hourly rate. I've worked in restaurants since I was 15 and have seen that kind of behavior from overwhelmed owners before. I know how hard it is to run these kind of businesses but if you can't pay your workers for an honest days work, what's the point?Veggie sandwich was fine. Never ordered coffee here as I've been told not to but the hot tea was good. It's nice on the inside, but is ruined by angry, grumbling workers who clearly feel disrespected by the owner. The blame is on the owners if this is all true. Sad as the spot is so nice but seems to not be properly appreciated.

First time going here today. My husband and I were taking a small day trip to Clinton from Knoxville. This place looked cute and I had high hopes that we had stumbled upon a good, local coffee shop. Well, I was wrong…First, when we were looking at the menu and ordering, the cashier was having another conversation with the other person working. He asked us multiple times what we had said and we had to repeat our order several times.Second, we got our drinks not stirred. We had to ask the lady that made them to stir them for us.Third, we ordered 2 medium iced lattes with half and half no extra espresso. Not complicated, right? We got 2 “extra large” cups of half and half. No coffee in either of them. It literally just tasted like half and half. I did not want to talk to the guy again, so we left. The best part of the experience was the lemon blueberry cookie, but even it was hard and tasteless. Don’t waste your money. There is better coffee at McDonalds.

This was my first time visiting this shop. It looked cute and promising when we first entered, but we quickly learned that this is not a place we will ever return to. While waiting in line, I witnessed a woman, who I can only assume to be the owner or manager, being incredibly rude to several customers. It was a busy day and I understood that she was stressed, so I let that slide and just assumed that she needed some time to decompress. I ordered my iced coffee and flat white and left the shop. Upon walking around and taking a couple of sips my flat white, I noticed that it only tasted like milk, no espresso flavor. So I opened it and confirmed that it was only milk. I went back and politely explained what happened and asked if I could get another. This woman (manager or owner, I am unsure) proceeded to argue with me about what a flat white is, and stated that because I had ordered a large drink it would be mostly milk and not espresso, basically telling me that I was wrong. She later asked the barista in the back if he knew how to make a flat white and he said he did not and had only put steamed milk in the cup. I don’t blame him at all, he was nice and it seemed like he just needed more training. The cashier was also very sweet, so this review is only for the woman I spoke about. This woman then continued to be rude and snippy to me, and I honestly wanted nothing more than to leave her negative energy immediately. I now understood why everyone I had seen earlier in line was so uspet by her. She offered to return my money for the drink with a very rude attitude and I left the shop feeling tense and anxious because of my interaction with this person. Such an unnecessarily upsetting experience. I feel bad for the staff working there, because if they have to deal with that lack of professionalism every day they must be struggling. I love to support small businesses but this place did everything wrong and clearly needs a lot of work on their training for barista staff and professionalism towards customers. Really sad.

This place consistently serves flavored milk. I added an extra shot of espresso and it made no difference to the color.

I ordered a toasted marshmallow mocha and it was awful. Aside from the mess the server made spilling the drink all over the cup, I’m not even sure it had espresso in it- it was the worst coffee drink I’ve ever had and I’m not joking when I say I think it was mostly water. Also, it wasn’t even a mocha- it was topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. My wife ordered a peppermint mocha frappe and after repeating the order 2x, it still came out as a crème frappe with no coffee. It was topped with big chunks of peppermint candy and it looks nice but obviously it’s an annoying topping because it just ends up stuck in straw, which was also the smallest straw possible and disappeared into the frappe and had to be fished out.

This downtown gem is amazing!! Don't come to just eat. Come to relax and let your mind wander. Pick up a book and take a seat anywhere in this location, after you order. Their lemonade is good too. The staff are amazing!!! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Really cool local coffee shop in the heart of Clinton. Everyone was super friendly, and they have great drink options. Best part is they are locally owned and operated!
