This placed is absolutely loved in town. The food is good and at good prices. I know they are going for a homey feel, but sometimes it's just to cluttered and makes the experience less enjoyable. Personally it's not my cup of tea, but it is a good place to have a yummy lunch.
I am a Clinton native, and I can attest that Hamock's Perkadeli is a Clinton staple. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by. They have the best homemade style food for quick pick up, and they have a wonderful selection of cakes to choose from. They have done cakes anywhere from my second birthday party to my wedding day! Cute little spot to have lunch sometimes. The Chicken salad seems to be the go to here and it is very good. However, they have a very limited menu and very little seating. Prices were a little higher than what I would have expected, but what you get is fresh. Really nice people though.
