So this is an edited review I had forgot last time we had been here was 4 yrs ago was dying for a slim jim this time it was amazing fries crispy like I like BUT the waitress was awful not once did she come for refills not once to check on us I needed ketchup when I ask another waitress fries were cold my husband had to drink my tea so he didn't choke BUT food was good I told the other girls about our experience because they had to pick up our waitress slack ugh would have been great if the waitress was better

We had the Senior Food Bar on Sunday evening. It was excellent. The price was $10 per person. I felt it was an excellent value. I think the Senior Bar is a Sunday special.

Tonya was our waitress and the did a great job taking care of my family. She was attentive, kind, and helpful. We plan to come back again!

We were happy to find a Shoney's very local to our hotel. Our breakfast this morning was awesome. Probably one of the tightest crews I have seen- and even Clinton The Manager jumped into help when needed (one sure sign of management excellence). The servers, Alisa and Amanda, were everywhere taking care of the customers. No one wanted for anything, and they were SO nice and happy. I don't think I have ever seen a bar kept as full and fresh as ours was today- thank you Libby, you are the BOMB! All the dishes were spotless and there was never a "no fresh plate" issue here! Thank you to Bobby and Justin- even though you weren't out front, your excellent work was noticed! We love Shoney's, and this is one of the best we are lucky enough to eat at. Thanks guys!! See you in the morning!

Dietary restrictions: They have a buffet with PLENTY of options, and they also offer vegan and gluten free options if you just ask :)

Parking: If you have an issue locating the parking lot, or an available spot, you should probably not be driving.

Kid-friendliness: It's Shoney's. Their mascot is a teddy bear.... they LOVE kids!!

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of handicapped spots right up front with an easy access to the sidewalk/entrance.

Oil smelled old in the air. Food didn't seem fresh. But our server tanya was excellent!

Traveling home from Gatlinburg to Michigan we decided to stop at Stoney’s for breakfast we looked at the menu online first and it showed quite a variety of breakfast choices however, there were literally only 3 choices on the actual menu witch was annoying but we’re already here right… we had to ask the server several tubes for simple things like coffee creamer, napkins, etc BUT then when she brought the food exciting looked ok when I went to pick the syrup up by the handle the whole thing came apart syrup went everywhere!!! So frustrated but trying to just remain calm, the manager was close by so we asked for something to clean the mess up with he literally put us on hold to go seat more guests!! There’s syrup everywhere! He then brings back more dry napkins we had to explain this was going to require a wet cloth they didn’t offer to help clean it up replace plates that were ruined or take anything off the bill… sorry Shoneys but I’ll never stop at another one and we usually tip very well…. Today we didn’t even tip

Take a jacket. Glad Shoneys is still around.
