The Indian cuisine is fresh (cooked when you order) and very delicious! Service was prompt and casual, just the way I like it. While this is a small space next to an Indian grocery, this qualifies as one of the "hole in the walls" which I find to often be the very best restaurants! Give it a try!

The food was delicious! My sons and I are vegan and the lady who served us helped us find things that weren’t cooked with ghee. We had onion pakoras, a cauliflower appetizer that I can’t remember the name of (Gobi majestic?), and vegetable fried rice. All were wonderful! My husband had a chicken appetizer, butter chicken, and a chili garlic naan and he loved it all.Vegetarian options: There are lots of vegetarian options and some vegan options.

Google could not direct me there. Once I finally got there, there was barely anything available to eat and no one around to serve it. Got nothing, just left.

I went there on Thursday evening for chicken lollipop and Vijayawada Chicken Biryani. Upon entering They said we have only Biryani available and I took the Vijayawada Chicken Biryani. The taste was good. Sitting area is compact and they have Grocery store as well over there.

Ordered weekend special goat biryani and o opened the box when I got home and it was horrible ! The rice was all mushy and not even eatable .. if they are not going to use basmati rice and they have something different then write that on the Uber eats description so that ppl dont waste their money ??‍♀️ the worst biryani I ever had .. threw the whole thing out

Oh my goodness! This was our second visit to Nawab's and am now thoroughly convinced it is the best Indian food in Memphis. The interior is nothing to speak of, since they obviously do a great portion of their sales in takeout, but we live a little far for that. So your food is served in disposable take out containers, and you eat with plastic forks & spoons. Having said that, this really doesn't diminish the ambiance, simply because of the amazing food, and the lovely young woman serving it. We had only been there once before, and she actually remembered the spice level I prefer. The menu is an adventure- no descriptions, whatsoever, and in many cases, not what I am accustomed to. This is Southern Indian cuisine. Fortunately, aforementioned woman will guide you thru the menu based on what you tell her your preferences are, including heat level. We were really hungry on this night and asked for an appetizer that could come out pretty quickly. She simply said, "baby corn" . I was more than a bit skeptical about this. She returned soon after with a steaming plate of little chunks covered in a reddish brown sauce. As far as I can figure, it was chunks of baby corn battered and then covered with the most delicious sauce that had a little bit of heat. When she returned she was absolutely beaming and said how proud she was of us. She is charming and the food is positively delicious, cooked and served to order. If you are a fan of chain restaurants, you are not going to like it. As for me, I'll be returning again & again.

Food was ight, I got more bones than meat. In their other store, I didn’t like when I asked where something was and I was shown to the spot and the dude is next to me for another 2-3 minutes while I was in that section and didn’t leave until I left.

The food was good and their fresh naan bread was amazing and their desserts were even better the lady was super nice and explained the difference between all the dishes and gave us a complimentary dessert to try that was amazing. I would definitely go back to try a different dish.
