Phone number is disconnected, no lights on! I'm thinking this place is closed!
Very glad Michael and Laura opened this wonderful restaurant. The pasta dishes are amongst the best in Memphis, wine list is excellent, service is always perfect. Friendly and welcoming environment. We take our friends and family from Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles to Café Europe, they all love it.
Absolutely outstanding! We had the following; Foie Gras (amazing), French Onion Soup, Pompano, Bouillabaisse and Lobster Ravioli. Everything was spectacular.
Good European food that you may not get anywhere else in Memphis area. Ask for server Bhakti. She was great. Desserts are excellent. Tiramisu is must to have. Place is little on the expensive side but it's all worth every penny. Some of wines there are actually hand picked and imported. Can't go wrong with it.
Met several friends here for lunch and were delighted with the menu and service. Each ordered something different and we had to agree we'd definitely be coming back.
The chef and his wife formerly owned Pasta Maker in Germantown. I’m happy and totally in love with this restaurant review Absolutely phenomenal. One of the best restaurants in Memphis This is fine dining and worth the cost. Impeccable service and food prepared to perfection. Wide variety from pasta dishes, fish, veal chops and steak. Great selection of appetizers and desserts. Nice wine selection or bring your own for reasonable corkage fee. Since he was 14, native Italian Chef Michele D'Oto has worked and trained in various restaurants across Europe. Since his arrival in 2005, he has shared his passion for cooking through his restaurants Pasta Italia and Pasta Maker. Chef Michele D'Oto is now offering his private menu to the Memphis area in his new restaurant Café Europe so all may experience the different flavors he captured during his culinary journey in France, Spain, and of course, Italy.
Just not very good!! And very expensive!! I give this place less then six months and it will close. Maybe I would have a better experience if I had a waitress that listened!! She could not even recommend one thing on the menu.
The food was just not good. Supposed to have some lobster pasta dumpling thing and it looked like baby food and did not taste that great. It was mush. And do not get me started on my moms food (its was dry). But they had really good french fries and the lamb chop was good too.
The couple who owns this restaurant personally cares about their food and service, and it shows. The meal is fantastic; the experience is even better.
The food was impressive. We had the Pompano fish and lasagna and loved it! Service was excellent and the atmosphere relaxed. It easily as good as anything I had in Europe.

I am sooooooooooooo happy they opened again. They used to be Pasta Italian/Pasta Maker. I love all their food.
Seafood paella was amazing and the atmosphere was great!
Our food was superb and authentically European. The service was excellent and the servicescape tasteful and comfortable. This is one of the better fine dining restaurants in the Memphis area! Highly recommended for a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion.
Well, it was no surprise when The Pasta Maker closed in Germantown. So overpriced ! Visited Cafe Europe at Carriage Crossing. Sadly, I see this one having a short life. The lasagna was pitiful and at $25 about twice what you would pay at Amerigo or Brooklyn Bridge. It was soupy and had no taste. Everything was very pricey compared to other restaurants with better food. Don t like to be negative , but would never go back!
The people that run the restaurant are con artists people the owner is a crook food ok but the owner treats all employees like dirt and steals from his workers
