I have never had an experience like this at a Captain D's before. We ordered through DoorDash, and this meal was not worth eating. The size of the fish is half of what it was. And the entire meal tasted like it had been under a heat lamp all day. It was dried out and quite gross. It will be a very long time before we order from this restaurant again.

It was past 10am and they still wouldn’t take my order at the drive thru. I pulled to the side and there was not a soul in site in the front of the restaurant although there were cars in the parking lot with no one in them.

Ordered and paid (w credit card) for southern style whitefish meal and a shrimp add on. Also requested cracklins. As I was waking away from counter to wait, was advised that they do not have any whitefish and changed my order to just a southern style meal. What I paid for was more expensive, not by much but it's the principal. I stead of just giving me a two piece substitute meal they could have given me another piece of fish, an extra shrimp or two, another side. Or just the difference in price..but NOTHING was offered. When I picked up my order. I I quite about the price difference, they checked the menu agreed there was difference but again nothing. I I quite what they were going to do about the difference, they said 'but we don't have any whitefish ' and then finally said we can give you the difference. I gave them my receipt and they immediately handed it back saying we can't do anything because you paid with a credit card.
Next...sat down to eat....coleslaw was on verge of bad, sour tasting. Fish....2 TINY pieces of fish in some weird batter, like a mix of regular and southern style.
Whole visit was horribly disappand just BAD customer service.

Fish tastes like it was cooked the day before and corn on cob was dry, kernels were brown and awful. The hushpuppies were hard and dry. Never again!

I should have known by the state of the interior. Floor was sticky counters were filthy walls were bubbled and bowed due to water leaking in the building. They couldn't even fix the doors on the trash cans.Customer service was horrible, the three people that were there you could tell they didn't want to be there.I ordered a three-piece fish meal. Fish has black crumbs all over it, like they don't clean their grease.Fish tasted awful, hush puppies are extremely burnt. You can tell no one in this particular location gives a crap about anything. I will never recommend Captain D's to anybody in my life ever again because of this experience. Worst Seafood fast food joint in existence.

I order 2 piece fish only got one piece and the other piece was mistaken for a bread stick l, i was told to pull up and they never came out. It was raining and the line had gotten long. I called in there no one answered. Sorry customer service.
