Stopped in early Sunday morning before the crowds started. This was our first visit and Sam our waitress made it super easy on us. Absolutely love this place, great country atmosphere, fantastic food, and couldn’t have ask for a better waitress!! Ordered the catfish and chopped chicken. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Worst brisket I have ever had, tough, more fat than meat and dry. Arbys has better brisket for half the price, cook on duty today should be fired.

Might not have the same charm of the original Germantown location, but the food is just as amazing (best BBQ in Memphis… and quite possibly the whole entire earth), the service was exceptional (Melissa), and there’s plenty of space with no waits. I would make the 7-hour drive from my house to eat there again any day of the week.

$9.60 for a regular bbq sandwich? Your food quality has gone down as quickly as your prices have gone up. Your customers will not continue to put up with these prices. Used to be a “go to” restaurant, not any more.

Overall the food was great but the prices do not accurately reflect the portion sizes which explains why they weren’t very busy at 6:45 on a Friday night they might get a little more business if they increased the portion sizes.

We had the BEST service from Kimberly! She is definitely top notch!!! It rare to find someone who pays attention like she did in a busy restaurant.

The Commissary is a local legend and didn't disappoint. Pulled pork and sides were delicious! Loved the banana pudding. Nice selection of local beer. The server was very attentive.
