Staff at donut hutt are very friendly and persuasive lol. I had a meeting and popped in for a grab n go breakfast. The ambiance of the shop is nothing special however it's a decent size establishment and has a lot of potential for ambiance. As the name implies this is about doughnuts and they are phenomenal! Made fresh EVERY day in house, the owner takes pride in giving back to the community not just as being a local hotspot but too by offering day old doughnuts to local programs. They don't waste anything and that's refreshing. Owners a native east coaster that fell for a local girl and has been here ever since. There's a good variety of old fashioned styled doughnuts with a few inspired twists offered everyday ALL handmade, glazed & filled. The long John Bavarian filled are hefty with a beautiful custard cream filling, honestly it's like two doughnuts in one! My personal fav is the maple-bacon, OMG- the softest pillowy doughnut goodness topped a perfect balance of maple icing and lots of crispy crumbled bacon for that salty hit- just YAAAS! They also offer grab n go breakfast biscuit sandwiches, burritos, and a spicy or regular sausage wrapped in sweet dough that is spectacular and easy peasy to eat while on your commuter run. Add in fresh, piping hot, old-skool drip coffee too and you'll be set for your day! Definitely check them out.

We went by here first thing in the morning right after they opened. We ordered donut holes and an apple fritter. Both were stale and likely from the day before. U fortunately these were a treat to kick off a trip so we could not go back. Time to find a new donut spot I'm afraid!

I came with my 10 year old son to his school field trip here. It was wonderful! Rick is amazing with the kids. I never would have known making donuts could be so much fun! The kids were given a very thorough experience starting with kneading the dough and even doing some "donut dancing." They were taught all about the equipment, did some donut decorating, and, most importantly, got to eat them!!

This is not a bad review against donut hut because they have amazing donuts and Rick. The owner is a super great guy. The problem is the rude, miserable blonde who works there. Over the past seven years I have met a friend of mine probably every summer over a donut date, we do sit there for a good hour or so, but we ordered donuts and coffee, so what's the big deal right? Well that rude mousy blonde whose hair always gets in the donut had the audacity to roll her eyes at us! But it's cool if the Collierville obnoxious good ole boys club (who takes up the whole damn restaurant) is there every day... I mean seriously get a job guys...Complete b*tch!!!

Had. Craving for donuts and had heard that this place was good. On arrival we were greeted immediately by a smiling lady . Since we were mid morning , the choices were sort of limited. I chose a cinnamon bun and coffee and hubby got blueberry donuts. The freshness was unreal and so full of sweet goodness I got one of the big ones to take home . Coffee was good and loved the hazelnut cream in a pump jar. Yes I abused it with 4 pumps. This was a very sweet morning and upon leaving , they took time to wish us a great day , we took their advice and had one

Holy moly! Cannot recommend the Donut Hutt enough! Blown away by the service we received today at an awesome birthday party… not to mention I think these donuts were some of the best I’ve ever had! Donut Hutt may have the best donuts in the 901! We will be making the 30 min trek out there more often to partake in these delicious treats!

Best Apple Fritter in the Collierville TN area! We dropped by for a brunch treat and coffee -- a treat it was. There wasn't anything overly exciting about the location/atmosphere until we got the Apple Fritters: fresh, delicious, well-iced. We will definitely go back!
