We were at Jim’s Place Grille earlier this month celebrating a birthday and everything was excellent. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and very good service. I highly recommend Jim’s Place Grille.

We came to Jim’s Place to celebrate our anniversary, and had a wonderful time! Our table was ready a few minutes before our actual reservation time, and everyone we encountered was polite and pleasant! Our cocktails were well made and delicious, our appetizer was a lamb lollipop special and so delectable. The soup of the day was broccoli cheddar and was excellent. We had wine with our steak entrees, and it all came out perfect. The restaurant added mashed potatoes to the menu, and they were amazing. Our server was the best, and checked on us and got everything we could ask for. She even brought us a free brownie dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. On the whole, a lovely experience at Jim’s Place, as always. We will be back!

Really disappointed in the food. We were here for a birthday celebration and two of us got the turnip greens and there was no seasoning in it at all. The lamb chops had too much marinade and dry rub. The grouper had no seasoning other than salt. Haven’t been here in quite a while and won’t be back. The price isn’t worth it. Service was good however.
We dined there on Saturday, 8/2, from 5-7:30pm.

Once again James was horrible. I started going to Jim’s Place Grill about 60 years ago. The owners were friendly and responsive. But not now!!!! James is the most arrogant self centered person I have met.. He has met me many times but chooses to only speak to the couple we dine with. Our bill was $125.00 you would think he would appreciate us by at least saying hello. Waitress was good and we appreciate her friendliness. Maybe she should have an I service.
We just had our 50 Year reunion in their private dinning room - oh my goodness what a perfect night. Everything from start to finish was outstanding! From the ambiance to the excellent service and the food was delicious! We had 49 people and they are still raving about the whole experience! It is not easy to please everyone, but Jim's Place Grille did just that! Kristy helped us from start to finish and was there for any question as well as menu recommendations. If you are having an event and want a perfect night - look no further- this is your place! Thank you again Kristy and staff for making our 60 year reunion a truly special night!
I had a Greek salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were grilled, seasoned, huge & very tasty. The salad was a fair size with quite a variety of produce in it. My husband had the grilled salmon meal. His salmon was huge, fresh & remarkably tasty--he offered some of it to me because it was so good. The waitress was attentive & friendly. After COVID food is not cheap but we plan on coming here far more often than we have as everything was superior --which today in many restaurants is often not the case.
