This place is authentic, extremely yummy Mexican food. My friend and I dined for dinner at a very busy time and we we're seating immediately. Within a minute, the server was taking our drink order. The food was amazing, came out very fast and were very large portions. We will absolutely be back here when in town again. If you haven't tried them, you are missing out!

I have recently turned 21, and my godmother and I went out to have my first margarita. This place refused me alcohol, because my ID was still vertical. Even though I was legally 21 years old, they stated they are refusing me alcohol, and they asked to see my passport. What?!?!?They were very rude during this encounter with my dear family friend living almost an hour away! I explained in the past 12 days since I have turned 21 with the ice storm and working full-time that I have not had the chance to update my ID at the DMV! The long, blonde hair manager basically said too bad. The manager also told me that because I looked young they didn't believe me. I am sorry that I have a baby face! They were just very rude and not very understanding, especially when I turned 21 less than 2 weeks ago!I will be boycotting La Perla for a while!

Smallest of Mexican restaurants in area. Seating better for groups <6. Will need to get there before 6pm for dinner unless want to wait outside for table. Food has been better and service is slower. Still go because very sentimental about this place.

Great chimichangas. They also have a great salsa verde for tacos or anything else. Service is always good and food is better than most Mexican restaurants in the area.
Catered toward non Mexican palates. Not authentic. Waiter dropped a scoop of guacamole on my pants. Not going back.

It was just ok. The Carne Asada Fries were good but not worth coming back for. The fries weren't really seasoned so they were just ok. My husband mentioned his chicken was overcooked and hard to eat while the beef was too mushy. TBH there's just too many options to come back here. It's out of our way and it was just ok.
