i NEVER leave reviews but this place was DELICIOUS!! it is hard for me to eat because i’m a picky eater but i got the sweet and sour chicken and it was so good. not one bad piece of chicken! so so good paired with the pineapple orange tea! it’s also so cute in there.

Just the very best in Asian food with huge portions sizes. Qualoty is the best I have ever had and is very consistant.

Service and seating was fine. The food was below average. We ordered pad Thai, house fried rice, green curry chicken and spicy basil chicken wings. Every dish tastes bad. Pad Thai was supposed to be spicy but you could taste ketchup. Green curry was not green curry. Spicy basil chicken was bland and the house fried rice was super salty. Thoroughly disappointed and not coming back.

good food 😋 and very tasteful

I made several orders of 4 types of food to celebrate my cousin's birthday. Then at home we group the orders. That was a total success! All the guests ate enough, we repeated and enjoyed this delicious meal a lot. I highly recommend it! It was wonderful! Thank you Mulan for your quality, service and punctuality.

Mulan is one of Collierville’s best Chinese restaurants! It’s probably the only one! They have a very large menu and the service is always impeccable. One of my favorite dishes is called diced fried chicken cooked Szechuan style with peppers. It is very unique and great to eat at home late at night! I’m also a big fan of their hibachi lunches.

Do not order delivery. The food arrived cold and dry, like a desert night. The rice noodles were so dry it felt like eating the noodle version of rice cakes. The fried rice was mediocre at best.

If someone cancels their order and it's even slightly similar to yours, they will likely give you that instead to recoup their loss. I spent over $60, not including tip. At that price point, you expect better.

Find another restaurant. Their practices are needing a review. Dine-in might be different, but reviews suggest otherwise.

Update as of April 6, 2025: It’s gotten worse. I will not be returning.

Only thing i recommend is the gen tso chicken & house lo mein. The singapore is TERRIBLE! China Spring in Cordova has the best. And Asian kitchen in Bartlett. Mulan's singapore was EXTREMELY dry & chalky. I almost choked. I had to add a little water. The chicken tasted old & over seasoned. Never in my life will i order from here again

Front desk said the restaurant is full and asked me to write my name and number on the waiting list. We waited 40 mins outside to get the call. No one called. We saw several people coming out in the 40 mins

When we went back in, we saw them ignoring the waiting list and sitting people as they come in. They could've said it in the first place.

And then there's the tip they add automatically without even asking me for only 2 people. If you're forcing your customers to tip, you're basically robbing them for pocket change.

The food was good though. No complain about the food. Food wise, this is the best Mulan in memphis.

Waited over an hour after we ordered food. The restaurant was over half empty and several tables were seated after us and got their food long bride we left. Only my soup came and we were told “it’s coming soon” in regard to the entrees. It took the waiter over 10 minutes to bring me a new glass of water. Will not be returning.

Three drink for 25 mins.

Mulan Bistro used to be the one and the only Chinese bistro we went to, but not anymore. I haven’t been there for years since last time and we stop gathering there. The experience is way too unpleasant that I can still recall what happened that day. We ordered nearly ten or even more dishes and every single one was way too salty. When the server asked how’s everything going and I told her how we feel and asked if they changed their chef. Her response is rather funny: “oh you must be fresh off the boat, that’s how the cuisines in the USA Chinese restaurant taste like”.
