I would always order pickups here and would never have an issue until recently they would just never answer the phone at all to order pickups. would recommend cordova location, they always answer the phone.

I've been here 3 weeks in a row. Food is great, service is great. Vetty has been my server twice and she treats you like family. The overall food experience, looks great, I still have not sat in the habachi section yet, but seeing the live cooking from across the room looks inviting. That will be my next review. Cheers

My family has frequented Osaka since opening. We have given it numerous chances to improve in recent years. The last time there will be the last time we darken their doors. Wait staff was rude to the point of almost being aggressive, chef, prepared food OK serve sauces, and plastic disposable ramekins did not perform. Seem like everybody was in a bad mood and did not wanna work there. The ambience has changed. Also since it's opening front door is crowded with a table and the check-in process is become very unorganized. I hate to leave this review, but I was very disappointed last few visits.

Restaurant needs someone on bathroom duty. Friday night the female bathroom was plain nasty.
The worst experience I have ever had with a take out order! I ordered teriyaki chicken no veggies with double rice and Hawaiian fried rice no shrimp extra pineapple. When I got home and finally ate the rice was old and sticky. I did not get a chance to call they back until after they reopened at 4:30…only to be told that I should have checked my food before I left…I did!! To make sure I had the right order, person on the phone says I should have checked (like eat some). Like what!! Didn’t know when making a to go order you have to eat your TO GO food there to make sure everything was good. Dumbest thing I ever heard!! OSAKA COLLIERVILLE SUCKS!!! I wish there was a way to leave a comment without giving any stars because they don’t deserve any! PURE TRASH!!

My family of 9 came here last week upon opening for dinner to celebrate two birthdays. Our server was very attentive and helpful in selecting menu options for those who hadn't been to Osaka before.We were one of two hibachi tables on arrival, and while it took us a bit to order, we didn't realize that there were only two hibachi chefs! We ended up waiting an hour for our chef to arrive, so we will be sure to order much faster, as the restaurant filled up pretty quickly by the time we ordered.Our hibachi chef was friendly, but the food he cooked was a little bland. He barely added any garlic butter, soy sauce, or seasoning into the fried rice, veggies, and meats. We only received little cups of yum yum sauce on the side, despite being served the little white two-cavity sauce platters for their steak sauce and Osaka sauce. The sushi was good, and the crab Rangoon appetizer was stuffed with crab and cream cheese (which is a good thing!)Overall, I was disappointed in the hibachi, but I suppose next time I will audibly ask the chef for more seasoning and garlic butter in the food.Vegetarian options: Hibachi vegetables, tofu options, meatless/veggie fried rice optionsKid-friendliness: Kid cups with lids, servers and hibachi chefs do little tricks for kids, kids portions/menuWheelchair accessibility: They keep only one front door unlocked, but it should be accessible to wheelchair users

TRASH!!!! Ordered food and had to wait forever. Then once I got my fried sushi I was chewing on hair!!!!! The manager did not care at all and proceeded to tell me the cooks don’t have long hair lol RIDICULOUS!!!!!! Never ever will go here again.
