The food and the service were both great.
We went during a busy time and sat at a table - not a booth. I felt a little too out in the open and would have preferred a booth, but that's my only complaint about my experience at Rotolo's.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We ordered spaghetti. The spaghetti was room temperature but the dish it came in was steaming hot. Not sure how that happens. The Angry Pig pizza was not good but the other pizzas looked tasty. The service was just ok. We almost never got our tea or coke. The appetizers were good. We had the cheese sticks and the spinach dip. Probably won't go back.

Not sure why all the negative reviews about service. We went in the other night had had great food and service. The waitress was very attentive. We had a group of 5 and ordered a variety of things (pizza, alfredo, mac and cheese, fried cauliflower, garlic knots, etc.) All came out hot, timely and tested great. Their beer selection is also great compared to most restaurants in the Collierville/Germantown area.

We ordered takeout, and it was $100 worth of food. Very small portions on everything. Also, the muffuletta hardly had any meat or olive salad on it. Will not be ordering again. You can get the same type of food at Tony’s Trophy Room with larger portions and cheaper prices.

Girl on the phone was very confused when I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. She first asked if i wanted the 18 inch or the 13 inch, to which I said “18 inch, I need the largest pizza.” She then listed off all of the ingredients in the pizza and asked again if i wanted the 13 inch, to which I said “No. The 18 inch.” Placed order, got to resturaunt to pick up order, and she still rang me up for a 13 inch despite having specified 3 separate times that I wanted the 18 inch, NOT the 13 inch. On top of receiving the wrong order, the food is disgusting & tastes like garbage. Extremely disappointed, never received such bad service/food in my life.

Rotolo’s is such an amazing place for date night or family night. I’ve been twice and each time I’ve loved it. Night time is my favorite time to go because of the beautiful patio with the string lights and atmosphere. Kids have the freedom to move around more freely while the adults get to enjoy themselves as well. And I can’t forget out the food or drinks. The food is always fresh and hot. My favorite new drink from Rotolo’s is Good Boy. I’m not a big drinker but these are sooo good because you can’t taste the alcohol. ? If you’re ever in the area, give Rotolo’s a try. You won’t be disappointed!
Kid-friendliness: If you have children, the outside patio is a great option so that they could run around after eating and be a little louder than usual but still respectful of others trying to enjoy their time as well.

Ordered lasagne and an order of meatballs. It was supposed to come with garlic knots. After getting home , notice there were no garlic knots. Food was decent. Service on the other hand bordered on the racist side. Young kid asked for the name. I was not sure since my daughter placed the order. I gave him one name but order was placed under another name. I happened to notice my order was on the counter. I also showed him the text confirmation. He did not believe it was mine and went to get someone else. She came and looked at me and told me that it can’t be my order since I did not pay for it, insinuating I was going to run off with an order that was not mine. I told her that I was there to pay for it and never once said it had been paid for. Hope this does not reflect the organization

I've ate here multiple times now trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and my conclusion is.. it's really a hit or miss whether you'll receive edible thoroughly cooked food. The cost associated seems extremely overpriced for food you might not be able to eat. Let me explain. The first few times ordering I was thoroughly impressed. I told EVERYONE about this place. I don't know what happened after that but it was downhill from there. The 5th visit I encountered partially cooked lasagna and when I called I was told I'd be refunded (still waiting on that refund). Tonight took the cake though. I don't know who was cooking when I ate here the 1st time but GET THEM BACK. The food is a completely different taste! The lasagna for instance had a slightly sweet tasting marinara. That is what I prefer so this is why I was so excited upon initially trying out this establishment. With that said tonight was the last straw. Whoever is premaking (yes, they premake their lasagna and reheat when ordered hence the issue I had before with receiving a cold lasagna) said lasagna needs to STOP. They need to STOP adding their own seasonings because not only are they not needed they are NOT wanted!!! The lasagna was way to salty and mushy do to not being cooked thoroughly I just threw the whole thing away. The chicken ceasar salad was missing the extra ingredients I paid for and I had to go back. The food was sitting out when I arrived after specifically calling and asking them to please keep my food under a warmer or something not just sitting out because I was running behind. The girl who answered the phone agreed and when I arrived of course it was sitting out. So, the salad was wilted and warm from sitting on top of the warm lasagna. The lasagna was warm and mushy probably from the condensation watering it down and it was disgusting. The original recipe was perfect DO NOT mess with it whoever you are premaking the pastas! Furthermore, I am pretty sure there has to be some health dept standards on orders being kept at a temp that at least holds off nasty stuff from growing. I threw everything away due to these issues tonight. After being lied to about a refund before (with the cold lasagna) and not receiving I am aware it's pointless to call and complain so I just won't be returning. I also will be retracting my previous 5 star review and updating it to its rightful place as of today. If i could give 0 stars this place would get it. It's sad to because I was so excited initially and it's sad this place has become such a huge let down and possible health dept regulation violator. SMH
SN: The picture below is what you receive with the lasagna and this way from the time the lasagna wasn't cooked neither were these. As you can tell they are still doughy. The lasagna was worse than this.
Tried for the first time tonight loved it great food great service wife got the pizza I got the lasagna a lot food for a reasonable price will be back again
