This was by far and above an amazing experience. The only negative I could say is the wait time was crazy. Which just means that’s how popular this place is and they don’t have a lot of seating options available. They had a lot of elderly clientele and so every time wed get a seat to sit and wait someone else would come in and wed give up our seats so they could sit. But standing you are in everyone’s way. So that was uncomfortable. And some of the carpet and equipment around...
This is one of my fave places to eat! As always, service was friendly and perfect. My tea glass was never empty! My first time having the fried catfish, and I will definitely be back! Some of the best I've ever eaten, as were the hush puppies! As always, the chocolate chess pie was a yummy way to end the meal. We had a very short wait for our table, and even though the place was packed, our food came out quickly and we were checked on frequently and never lacked for anything!...
