NEVER WASTE YOUR TIME FOR THIS PLACE. It is a horrible service .we ordered from menu . After we ordered our starter , we didn’t see our server for about 20 min. I had to stop her to order something to eat . Than our food came in different time and my order salad were missing for another ten minutes and than my wife order was missing and waited another ten minutes. And mistakenly I ordered a corona bottle beer. I never got. But was still on the check. Tokyo tea ( Long Island ice tea but melon touch ) it says on menu. But it was melon juice with ice. After we paid was about to walk out , a stupid bartender came with bottle corona in her hands and asking me if I want my open bottle corona . I guess she wants me to take it out since I never got. Bartender is horrible , manager absolutely doesn’t have any clue about managing a restaurant . And our server ( oh my God) somone please help her to look tables and serve simple items . Like a drink or like a water or like a food 🥘. Please remind her where she works . .

I appreciate the accommodation of my reservation within 72 hours however I was clear with the hostess that due to the change in previous plans I wasn’t sure of a headcount but it would be 10-13 guests. She said let’s reserve for 13 to be safe. 10 guests arrived and they fused to seat us until all guests were there or they’d cancel the reservation. After speaking manager we were sat. Due to the size of the party they treated us as two separate tables that’s fine however if we got up to speak with another guess we were told we could not Move as it was against the rules. There were upcharged for everything. They offered to deep fry my already cooked sushi role for 1.50 extra , the menu was not clear pricing wise. I was offered a salad or soup or double rice not all 3 which is pretty standard at any other hibachi establishment. I agreed to double fried rice and was told if you get that option it’s 1.50 extra (menu doesn’t state this ). Service was subpar. The drinks lacked alcohol and were very sweet/syrupy. The next day I had several friends or family that were sick. Food was very underseasoned. They charged extra for sauce for sushi, initially the role was dry when it came out and no dipping sauce options or was not topped with any sauce. I will not return or patronize this business.

I would skip this place. Ordered salmon and rice ($28) and crab cream cheese ($8.50) wontons to go. It was so expensive and I was so unhappy with the food. I have never had sweet wontons. I have no idea what they are putting inside the wontons but It didn’t taste like cream cheese. I didn’t even finish one of the four. I think $28 dollars was too high for a plate of salmon with rice. Next time I will stay home and make it myself. So disappointed.

My family and I used to go to Stix for every birthday, and we still love to visit often now that I am older and moved out! The hibachi service is amazing, and has quite a show! The cooks are always very friendly. In my opinion they have some of the BEST fried rice I've ever eaten. Their portions are great, I always have leftovers. The spicy edamame appetizer is so good. My husband is a big sushi fan and loves their sushi!

I am surprised because although most reviews say the food doesn’t taste good it actually tasted really good to me and the service was great I don’t remember our waitress name but she was really good ! The rice portion is good , I wasn’t a fan of the atmosphere, but I guess that’s a matter of preference… however … the food made both me and my husband super sick ! So beware ! We won’t be going back obviously

Great service! We were seated within 30 minutes of arriving and this was on Mother’s Day! The appetizers arrived quickly - edamame, crab ragoom and calamari- each was delicious and full flavored. All nine of us had the hibachi and it was so much better than any other we’ve had around Shelby County. All around a great and memorable experience.
