I’m going through cancer treatment therapies and my sense of taste and smell are affected and I’m just not hungry. I have been CRAVING fried catfish for months but since I can’t get out in the public I have not been able to act on that craving. I was feeling ok after a recent treatment and almost demanded my daughter take me to get fried catfish. I ordered the two whole fish meal and was going to eat it when I got home but a taste turned into me eating everything in the meal. I had coleslaw and turnip greens as sides. Next time I’m ordering the 3 piece. The hush puppies gave me heartburn so I’ll steer clear of them but thank you CCR for an excellent meal. Now I’m kinda looking forward to my therapies so I can eat at CCR again. I’m 5’1” and weigh 129 lbs. i really don’t know where I put all of that food but the two main mantras of my medical staff is, stay hydrated and eat to keep up your strength. I felt strong after that meal, like in muscle strength that has been ebbing away had a comeback surge. I bet it helped with many other problems from the cancer and treatments. Stopped in for lunch and it was wonderful! Best hush puppies, fresh hot fish, piping hot baked potato and the green tomato relish was so good! I will definitely be back again!

Whenever we are in the area we make it a point to stop in. Meals are prepared fresh as ordered. Service is outstanding. Friendly atmosphere, make you feel like family. We constantly recommend to others if passing through. If more stars could be given I'd add two more!!
We stopped by this restaurant today and left feeling very disappointed. The table and menu were sticky, the silverware needed cleaning, and our server showed clear disinterest in serving us. The catfish was also undercooked, which caused us to stop eating. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, he abruptly took the ticket from our hand, said he’d “take care of it,” and walked off without an apology or concern for what went wrong.
We were also the only Black customers in the restaurant, and based on how differently we were treated compared to others, it was hard not to feel singled out. Whether intentional or not, the experience left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Basically if you’re black this place is NOT for us, IYKYK!

Catfish Campus is a true Columbia landmark. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the catfish is some of the best you’ll find anywhere. The staff treat you like family, and the atmosphere feels like home. It’s the kind of place that defines small-town Tennessee, simple, friendly, and done right. I love this place.
