EJ 2Step catered our wedding and if you’re looking for a wedding caterer, look no further — they are IT! The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. The empanadas were such a huge hit; our guests could not stop talking about them! The owners are truly wonderful people who genuinely care about their clients and put so much heart into what they do. We are so thankful for them and could not recommend them more!

My family and all the wedding guests were blown away by the exceptional quality of food provided by Ernie and Jane. These two are excellent at what they do. They are extremely caring, friendly people who are super responsive to emails and calls. The prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, and honey glazed carrots were AMAZING. I couldn't imagine cooking prime rib for 250 people, but they pulled it off to perfection. HIGHLY recommend this company!! I will never forget their superior service.

I have found my new addiction! Bet you can't eat just one - and I'm glad I didn't! The creamy spinach empanada and Philly cheesesteak empanada were PACKED full of the MOST amazing, devine, delicious, HOMEMADE, handcrafted bit of Heaven I've tasted in a long time! Filled me up, so I had to wait several hours before enjoying the blueberry cheesecake empanada. NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER! The owners and staff are genuine and precious, the atmosphere inviting, and oh, the aroma had me drooling before I opened the door to go inside!!! Google should allow you to choose more stars, because I'd definitely give them an easy 100. I discovered these wonderful folks on a post where they BLESSED 7 families in need a few days before - and they had me at creamy spinach empanada - these are the kind of folks I love to support, and believe me, you haven't lived until you've tried their empenadas!!!! Bet you won't eat just one!!!

Ernie and Jane knocked it out of the park for our wedding. We did a taco/nacho bar which was a HUGE hit!! Everyone loved it. Then we had churros and ice cream for dessert and it’s all the kids talked about! Ernie and Jane are not only incredible with the food they provide, but their personal touch and care they provide it amazing. They feel like family, treat you like family, and cook for you like family!!

EJ 2Step Catering were an absolutely amazing choice for our wedding! Chef Ernie and Jane were so kind and professional. My now wife was so happy, we’ll definitely go back to their restaurant just to say hi and of course eat! The food was incredible, and they treated us like family, bringing so much care and warmth to the entire experience. They went above and beyond to make every detail perfect, and their joyful presence made our day even more special. We stopped in Friday afternoon to check and make sure they would be open for breakfast the next morning, to which we met their amazing sous chef, Mitch. He was amazing to talk to. The next morning, we walked in and were greeted by the owners who were some of the most genuine and nicest business owners we’ve ever met. Couple that with the fact that they have the absolute tastiest breakfast empanadas we’ve ever had, and this place soared to the top of our lists for food spots. Do yourself a service and stop by this place. They treat you like family and the food hits the spot!

Jane and Ernie, were awesome! From the intimate tasting they prepared for our family to the day of. Everything was delicious and Jane thought of everything and was prepared for all the little things. What a pleasure and stress free experience working with them. They feel like family now. What a blessing.

What a wonderful experience we had with Ernie and Jane! From the first contact three months before our wedding (we were so lucky they had our date available!), to a great and very fun experience at the tasting, to incredible service at our wedding reception, we are so glad to have had them be part of our day. The empanadas were incredible, especially with a number of South American guests present, as was all the food. Ernie and Jane were both so sweet and the staff did an amazing job setting up not just the buffet but also our cake table, when we didn't even get the cake through them. We couldn't have picked anyone better to do this for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you, EJ 2Step!

We booked EJ2Step for our wedding a little over a month ago & my primary caution to any new customers would be to take very detailed notes.

The service simply didn’t go as discussed.

After the 40+ emails, 50 texts, and 2 multi-hour meetings, and 5-10 calls, Jane seems insistent that we didn’t communicate our expectations to her, and has vehemently denied that she fell short. She denies this even with the fact in mind, that she didn’t even personally turn up to our wedding and expected her servers and bartenders to show up and execute a very very elaborate wedding.

Not only that, but in the many times we’ve tried to handle the fallout with her by talking through this with her, she’s thrown around all sorts of ridiculous accusations on my wife, my now mother in law, & myself. It’s left a sour taste in our mouth from the moment these things occurred & it continues to leave us disappointed now, a month and a half after the fact.
