It was a surprise. And really good, service, food, and, atmosphere. We had dinner with old friends (30 yrs) and it was a good experience.Vegetarian options: Ok so they have vegetarian options but I'm soy allergic. And the other people who were with us the wife is totally vegetarian. I grew up that way and found out that I am allergic to soy beans and peanuts when I was 23. Gives me migraines So I didn't touch it. She ate some but not much the atmosphere was great. Service as well, I had scallops, veg.

The new owners have really turned this place around. The food is amazing, the sushi is super fresh and the service is great, even on a busy night. Sam made us an amazing sushi platter - the best we've ever had!

Read the reviews on DoorDash first before I ordered. Thinking they were accurate I went ahead and gave it a shot. The food was disgusting. The sushi I ordered was DEFINITELY NOT FRESH!! Smelled horrid. I put a review on DoorDash from the day I ordered it, but they never actually post them and after further review I noticed most of the reviews were a shill. So I came here instead to post my disgust. If you actually like sushi, RUN away from here as fast as you can. Never again!

Went here by myself to check it out. I was impressed at the kindness and helpfulness of the guys behind the bar and how wonderful the sushi was. I had the Bamboo Roll, it was delicious. Wait time and pricing were both pretty good as well!

I had the most amazing time last night at "Fujiyama in Columbia" with four of my friends! Our waitress, Michelle, was an absolute gem and provided exceptional service. We indulged in a delightful array of appetizers, but the Jalapeno Bomb stole the show for me. The Toro was an absolute melt-in-the-mouth experience, and naturally, we couldn't resist ordering a Sushi Boat! The entire staff and management team were incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout the evening. To top it off, we wrapped up the night with a heavenly trio of Tempura Cheesecake, Mochi Ice Cream, great salad and a celebratory Sake Bomb. I'm already looking forward to our next visit – this place is a true gem! ????

Look no further for great Sushi. We ordered Yellowtail lover roll and Volcano. The rolls were FANTASTIC LARGE AND VERY TASTY AND FRESH. Special Salad was delicious. The atmosphere was very authentic. Small, personable and very cozy. The service was top notch. Best part was the ice cold glasses for our beers. Check the pic. ICY COLD. Went great with sushi. We will be back.

The best sushi restaurant in Columbia! It will definitely scratch your cravings for sushi. I dined here so many times and noticed that tuna sashimi and flying fish roe were 2 things that are hit or miss. I got a very fishy tuna one time and a very borderline "thawed for a while" flying fish roe. Overall, everything was fresh and delicious. Service is always top notch. Table is clean every time I visit.

Fuji Yama roll will forever be the best roll! I love sitting at the bar and watching the chefs prepare!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely disgusting and it made us both sick all evening. Never again.

The steak was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were so amazing that, being a picky eater, I could not get enough of! Place was clean and service was phenomenal!

This place is one of go to's in Columbia! I love that we can get hibachi, sushi, or Chinese or a mix! Every time we have been the food comes out fresh and fairly quickly! Egg drop and hot and sour soups are good, but they don't have crunchies/wonton strips to put on top (which is the best part IMO). Apps: egg rolls, gyoza, and crab Rangoons. All were as to be expected flavor wise, nothing out of this world but all very fresh, crispy, and come out piping hot! For entrees we ordered house lo mein and some sushi rolls to share! I can't remember all of the sushi rolls we got but everything was great. I have had expensive sushi, gas station sushi, and small town sushi. It's a quaint little seating area with some booths on the back wall, a nice sushi bar, and several tables. It's kind of unsuspecting being next to Kroger. I feel like service is hit or miss but not enough to not go there!! I'd definitely recommend it-- it's a great little spot with delicious food for almost any kind of Japanese/Chinese/sushi you're craving!

Food was ok, but the service was in trouble last night....waited over an hour for food to go, and they did offer me a beer with an appallingly but I wasn't going to drink and drive. There were a number of people waiting, and one person who had an allergy and requested special order and waited an extended amount of time had to return because they didn't remove or facilitate. But they did remake their food properly. Very disappointing.
