Cheelse is amazing new exactly what I asked for in a wine!
GREAT selection of local wines & fantastic friendly service. Looking forward to another visit on a Friday evening to enjoy the live music. This place is a hidden gem.
They have the perfect flights here for sweet and dry wine drinkers. I can't wait to come back for music and bring my family. Ashley is fantastic and I ended up buying a bottle.
Wine Club member for years- We love this place.
We typically hit the Centerville winery because it's close to home. We love the Columbia winery as well. I recommend the dessert board with wine pairing at Columbia.
Food truck days are the best in Centerville. ❤️
I’m out of state, first Tennessee winery we tried. I probably asked a million questions and they are so knowledgeable and friendly! Honeysuckle Rose is 10/10
Grinder's Switch Winery Used to Be My Go to Place, Don't Get me Wrong The Wine And The Staff are Great, But The Food needs Some Work!!! Please Use A Different Flavor Of Potato chips other than vinegar and Salt when Paired with A Sandwich, Also The Bread Was stale And Not the Type mentioned on the Menu...For the price of the Food And sandwiches a little more attention needs to be given to The Food...Also, More prosciutto should be on the peach and Goat cheese toast...The food is not of the Same Quality as When Abner was working here!!!
100/10! Locally made and bottled! They have a little of everything! The staff are so welcoming and hospitable. You will have a great experience here. They do regular trivia and live music events. Still up and coming in Columbia. You will walk right in and have a great time!
My wife (65) and I (66) walked in to this establishment for the first time. NOBODY else in the store. We told the lady it was our first time. We sat at the counter and asked a few questions about the place and wine. I told her we’d like to do a tasting. She asked for ID’s. I had mine as I was driving. My wife said she didn’t bring hers. The lady said something like “do you live far away. Can you go get it?” I asked her if she was serious that she would not serve her w/o her ID. She said that was correct. Now the cops and liquor board will love her for this but what a stupid business move. Two people 3 x 21 and first time customers. Not only did she not make any sale with us today she will never make a sale with us. If you want good wine, go to a liquor store anyways.
Day trip to Columbia TN. So many great antique shops and specialty stores. We were very excited to see Grinder's Switch had opened a wine bar in Columbia. If you have not had the pleasure of the wine at Grinder's Switch, you aficionados need to give it a try. Variety is great, something for everyone. Sherri was a great hostess we had a very nice visit with her! Don't forget they have two other locations if this one is not convenient for you! Salute!
Had the Barrel Select wine and a small board, great wine and food. Wonderful atmosphere and service.

Great place to relax and have a glass of wine of wine. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.
Great winery and great storefront location in Columbia. The staff is super friendly and they have two different wine tasting flights (Dry & Sweet) so if you like wine and have not been you need to check it out!
