Ordered online. When we got there to pick up our food, they tell us no salads for the night. I already paid, but they did change it to a potato, which was fine, but I even said no sour cream because I can't have dairy, yet potato was full of it. Husband's sandwich was so sloppy and falling apart he couldn't eat it. I will stick to only going here during the daytime. They are the only ones who can actually make good food right.

Small but nice BBQ restaurant. Super nice service, tasty food freshly made quickly; and also cheap in comparison.

So, we moved up to Spring Hill last Easter from Chattanooga. We've been craving BBQ since then as well. My mother in law sent me a writeup saying how JJ's is some awesome bbq..So, a few monhs go by and I drive by JJ's , but I'm in a hurry so wait. Well, week before last I believe, I pulled in and ordered a family pack from my car as they don't do call ins... understand, I guess I could have called and ask about their products before blindly ordering. Maybe the local yocals know what they want . Makes sense. So, a family pack of 4 is rather scandalous as far as price. As far as the food check it out:Pork- lots of fat and seemed over handled or overcooked. Rather mushySlaw- finely chopped and rather bland and genericBeans- again taste like can beans with spices added. Maybe not. The lack of bell peppers, onion , or pork turned us away.No pickle! Had to ask myself if I was on the West coast lol. BBQ on the coast results in no pickle also.Ultimately, some may love it , but it was comparable to gas station bbq if I must .Next time anyone reading this is in Chattanooga TN... Google PURPLE DASIY BBQ ( St. Elmo) or better yet Bama Boys BBQ atop Sand Mtn in Henegar, AL. Both these places charge around $20-25 for a family of 4 . Both produce some of the best food period. Plenty others in Chatt-town but these have been our favorite since they opened.Seems like Nashville has the chicken scene covered but BBQ has been impossible. Even tried the expensive place in Spring Hill. Truthfully, we're learning how to do without until we go back to Chattanooga every 3 or 4 weeks. Sad, because we used to get to devour BBQ once a week.Wish JJ's was better. Can't pay double for what they offer tho. Seeing reviews saying their the best bang for the buck and how great UT tastes... ... ... We are all different but I invite you to explore the world outside of Columbia. Imagine growing up next to a water treatment facility or a chicken farm. Outsiders would be offended by the odors. Yet, you would happily refer to it as "God's country".
