This place used to be pretty good but lately it's hit or miss. The food is good when you actually get what you ordered. Lately it has really sucked. Its like it has been cooked ahead of time and just sets until it is ordered. I get home and half my order is still at the restaurant. No slaw or fries just the shrimp and two hush puppies. This is not the first time. Multiple times this has happened. I should not have to check to see if I'm getting my gd food before I leave the drive through. I can definitely see this place closing in the future with the service they are providing lately.

Food is fresh. I want to shout out their staff who have demonstrated good, friendly customer service on all my visits here over the past 3-4 years. A lot of workers in fast food don't even greet you in any way, just sling your food to you. Kudos to this location!!!!

Delicious food. The lady who is at the front counter is very nice and helpful. The guy with the tattoos can be rude at times.

Every time I pass through Columbia, I have to stop at Long John Silver’s. It’s one of my childhood favorites, and it brings back so many memories. They’re hard to find these days, so I really wish more locations would open back up! The food still hits the spot just like it did when I was a kid.

Small serving of waffle fries, some not too perfect. Chicken was fish battered fried chewy. The starry was watered down. Lemonade was ok.

Ok but expensive and the chicken didn't seem to be as good as usual.

Today I went through the drive through and asked for a lemonade no ice along with a few meals for my family. We had a really chill morning and an all around good day. I point this out because I was in a great mood. While still at the window in my car, I took a sip of lemonade and realized it was warm. I have always gotten my drinks without ice because fountain drinks come out cold and you don’t need ice. However, there machine must be broken because it was warm. I asked the lady at the window if I could get a bottle water from her instead and attempted to hand her the lemonade she gave me. She then out of no where screamed, literally screamed at me that she wasn’t touching my drink, but that she would get me a water. When she handed me her water, I asked her for tartar sauce, but mid way through my asking, she slammed the window shut and refused to come back. I waited long enough to pull up the LJS corporate website to write a review of my experience because I was absolutely floored with how this woman treated me. My 14 year old son was in the passenger seat and he looked at me and said “is she off her medication? Whats wrong with that woman?” It was THAT crazy. She never did come back to the window. I decided to park my car and go inside because I sure as hell wasn’t giving a place like this my business and I wanted my money back. As soon as I entered the lobby, that same woman saw me and ran to the back while she hid for at least 5 minutes in an attempt to hide from me. She eventually came back out to the front and refused to acknowledge me. I told her I wasn’t leaving until I got my money back. She finally acknowledged me and said she was t giving me a refund without a receipt. You know what’s really interesting? She never gave me my receipt. She finally admitted to it that she kept it and did eventually give me my money back. I then tried to ask her what her problem was and she threatened to call the police rather than apologize for her outlandish behavior. I wish she would have. I am letting anyone with ears know how she behaved until she’s fired because this women has no business working in the public, let alone customer service if she can’t handle someone politely asking to exchange their drink. I was told her name was Carrie. She apparently is a manager and if that’s true LJS has made a huge mistake employing someone like this, let alone in a managerial position.
