The wait time was long to get the food for takeout. However, the food is amazing. I understand why wait so long I was a tourist and found out about this restaurant from some friends. I'm so glad I got my last meal from here before leaving the state.

You really can't find better Italian. The process is well executed for how busy they are. They find you a table as you finish in the line to pay. The service is great, so friendly. The food needs a separate review on its own- killer! Try their crack sauce- if it sounds like a party it's cause it is!!!! Best sauce for pasta and to dip their beyond-beyond bread. So darn good my mouth is watering thinking about it. Just go.

Our first time dining here since we are new to the area. The line was out the door and now we know why ... the food is absolutely delicious. You order at the counter & when your food is ready they call out your name and bring it to your table. My husband had the seafood special, & I had the Gemma. We shared the side salad. Everything was wonderful & the their pasta and sauces are so so good. The salad was green's only, maybe a tiny bit of carrot but no other veggies or croutons and an up charge for extra dressing, but that's okay, it wasn't the main attraction anyway. We were also surprised by the CC surcharge. Had we been told we would have paid cash. Now we know. No worries. We're looking forward to coming back for the lasagna. P.S. the desserts $$$ looked amazing, but we were stuffed.

We had lots of great food on our trip to Columbia but this was the best. The Augi "crack" sauce was one of the best sauces I have ever tasted. I had the Shari dish which had the Augi sauce and meatballs. Absolutely amazing as previously mentioned the sauce was amazing but so were the perfectly cooked and seasoned meatballs. Also tried their cannoli which was outstanding. Great service too and we loved the open kitchen concept. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place !

Food is consistently amazing. Everything on the menu is Great! The people are very nice. I had their lasagna at Christmas for my family and i will order it for Christmas every year. Loved it and was pleased to pick up in time to get the crack sauce, bread and tiramisu.

Others waiting to be seated raved about this establishment. My wife and I had the house specialty lasagna. Unfortunately, I found it and the focaccia to be rather pedestrian.

Wow!!!! Visited for during holidays and this place is AMAZING! Got to meet Mama Mila herself. What a beautiful soul! I got the Gemma and oh my goodness it was GREAT! All of my girl friends want to visit Columbia with me next time I come so they can try Mama Mila's for themselves. We also got a little slice of chocolate cake. YUM!

We LOVE Mama Mila’s! It’s been a treasure of ours since we found it. Everything is perfect to a T but the only thing I would say needs a little work is the space. It’s a tight environment and we always fill a little rushed to hurry up and eat so we can let someone else get our table. But, other than that it’s freaking perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Top 3 best Italian restaurants we’ve ever been to.

Fantastic food and hospitality. It felt like eating at Mama’s house. Bill explained the process and the specials. There were seven of us and we all felt the love of this family. Everything we ordered was excellent but I can testify that the Lasagna with the crack sauce was the best I have ever eaten. The homemade salad dressings were very special as well. The focaccia bread was very good, with cheese added outstanding. I can’t pronounce the word correctly so I told my granddaughter it was Italian cornbread. She has a new favorite bread, hope she orders it correctly next time.Parking: Parking appears to be limited but as I was new in the neighborhood I could have been more cautious about street parking. Not a bad area at all just concerned that I might park somewhere that I would get towed. It worked out fine.

We moved to Nashville from NYC a few years ago and haven't been able to find any moderately priced decent southern or northern Italian food anywhere. So when we kept hearing locals raving about Mama Mila's we made the hopeful trek to Columbia. Perhaps we were naive but we were disappointed again. The service is attentive and friendly and the ambiance has a fun local vibe. But the food is lacking. We ordered different homemade pasta dishes and both were a bit overcooked, lacked flavor and tasted meh. Even the bread was that spongy doughy imitation common in middle TN. Prices also seemed high being so far from civilization. If you're from the NE, West Coast, or Chicago, moderate your expectations.

This place… has the best thing I’ve eaten in years! 10/5, maybe even 100/5. First, the smell of this kitchen can be picked up outside in a cool outdoor space and that’s what lead us to lunch here. The place was pretty busy and I understand why. We got the Augi, Gemma and a salad. The augi is part marinara sauce and part Alfredo with penne and two meatballs. The sauce was perfectly seasoned, the noodles were not over cooked and the meatball was sturdy but not tough. The Gemma was a mushroomy, garlic white sauce over fettuccine with chicken. The Gemma was the best thing I have had in years! I ate the entire thing and would have licked the plate had we not been in plain view of others. I can not recommend this place enough. I will be making the drive from Nashville at least once a month. It’s that good.

The BEST Italian food that I've had in the Nashville area! I've been searching for a great Italian restaurant and stumbled upon this hidden gem! Mama Mila was at the register and my friend and I enjoyed her so much! The atmosphere is really unique and you can tell that the food has so much love poured into it!

Closest to New York Italian pasta that I have experienced in the Nashville area. Mama Mila's is a quite far from Nashville, but I think definitely worth the drive, if you want good Italian pasta. There is no other good pasta option in Nashville and I have tried a lot of places. Again, it's just pastas, focacias, and desserts. Cheesecake was as good as ones in NYC.

This place is a real gem and honestly best Italian food I’ve had. Their “cracked sauce” which is a mix of their marinara and fettuccine sauce is so good. They serve focaccia bread with every entree but it was so good we had to order extra.
