I came in for a late lunch, the reviews is what brought me here. The lady, that took care of me was so nice, and, welcoming. I got pinto beans, mashed tater, and country fried steak. I left full and happy. I'm pleased to have found a place that serves home cooked food. I don't have time to cook like that anymore and that's, how I grew up eating. Did I mention I am so happy to find some where that serves meat and vegetables. And knows how to cook like home! Thanks so much!!

I really hate to give this place a bad review, the people there were so nice and friendly. We had chicken and dressing which was good. Over all our food was good just not super warm. My husband said his mashed potatoes were instant. Our sweet tea tasted old like it was from yesterday and had sat in the urn since then, unrefrigerated. Our biggest complaint was the place just seemed very dirty, unclean. We are not locals and were just in town to visit the James K Polk home.

Many days into a roadtrip we were looking for a local place with great southern/soul food. Omega’s was close and open, and so so good. Warm and friendly people, great greens, and even made freshly fried squash when there wasn’t quite enough on the plate (we wouldn’t have noticed). Best fried okra of my life, bar none. Real, good food and people.
