We had a wonderful night at Coastal Fish! At check in Sophie was so kind when we were a couple minutes late. She and the other ladies were all smiles and very assuring when welcoming us. We had oysters, shrimp & brie appetizer, trout, red fish and shared the cookie skillet! Lots of amazing food! Everything tasted great! Our server, Taylor did a fantastic job recommending options and serving our meals! Everyone was so kind to us as we celebrated our anniversary. Our water never ran out and we didn't have to ask for anything. It was all offered as items were delivered to our table. Thank you Coastal for making our quiet celebration memorable!

I made reservations for the patio seating since it's 70 degrees in November in Memphis, lol. It was my man's birthday and we've done all the steakhouses so I thought I'd mix it up. We've been to Coastal several times so I thought we'd do his birthday dinner there since we haven't been recently. We had a great view of the water, we were kind of in a corner but otherwise a nice spot. Our server was Landon and he was fantastic, very attentive and friendly and had a great spirit. He recommended a few things and was very patient while we decided what we wanted. We had the steak egg rolls and crab claw appetizers, I had the surf and turf dinner and my man had the wagyu steak with a lobster tail on the side. We both had the creamed potatoes which were wonderful and the corn brûlée was incredible! The honey badger drink was also delicious!! The only thing that disappointed me was they accidentally threw my steak away in the kitchen instead of packing it to take home. The restaurant made it right by adjusting my check and both Landon and the manager were apologetic so I was ok. I just really wanted my steak for lunch today but at least they compensated me. I would recommend Coastal for a romantic evening or a family dinner or just girls night! Great atmosphere, attentive service and the food is yummy.

We had a really lovely evening on the outside patio. The food was delicious, and service was speedy and attentive. We started with the crab claws as an appetizer. I got the sea bass, and my boyfriend got scallops for his entrée. The sides with each item were very well-prepared. I think my boyfriend enjoyed the avocado/burrata toast with his dish even more than the scallops!

Everything we ordered was delicious (Blackened Shrimp and Brie Dip, Jumbo Crab Cakes and the Wagyu Steak). The service was exceptional and the sunset reflecting off the water with our seats on the patio...breathtaking! We cannot wait to go back!
Food, service and especially drinks were lovely. The place is a bit noisy for me, but no noisier than normal.

A very uneven night. Valets were perfect. We had a drink at the bar and our bartender was outstanding. Waiter was slow to get to the table and in general would disappear for too long between greeting, drinks, appetizers and entrees. Food was served moderately warm likely had been sitting in the window too long. Overall not what I have come to expect from Coastal

Our waitress was amazing!! Please do not go fine dining if you can't afford a tip! The servers rely on tips and have to tip out to bartenders and back waiters! When you do this to them you're making them pay to actual work for you. I work in the food industry myself, when I see this I am appalled!! All the servers and bartenders in Memphis deserve so so much more! Thank you all from the hostess, to the bartenders, boh, food runners and our amazing server thank you! We fully enjoyed our time with you and will be back!!
