Great food. Lamar was incredible. Beautiful evening……until….. a floor manager reprimanded an employee in front of our table. Absolutely inexcusable. Management 101. Corrective action is not in the presence of staff or patrons.

If I could rank higher I would!This restaurant is a standout compared to anything experienced so far in Memphis. Service overall was top notch and Evan our server had impeccable attention to detail and timing was near perfect. Seriously one of the best servers experienced in quite awhile. Sunglasses for sunset, blanket for son when it got chilly, and turn up of propane heaters.Each plate was well put together, grilled oysters NOLA style were great, my surf and turf perfectly cook, my wife’s tuna cooked perfectly with a unique and amazing blend of flavors, and my son’s burger nicely done. Drinks were phenomenal and wine list offered a good pairing.Well done Coastal Fish Company.Kid-friendliness: Paid careful attention to son’s needs. Kid’s menu is not posted but available.

I celebrated my birthday at Coastal Fish yesterday and had a five star experience. My reservation was for 15 people and the entire staff fully accommodated us from the time the reservation was made til the end of our time there. Our server, Mathew, delivered outstanding customer service and was extremely professional. Him and the team who assisted him all were very knowledgeable of the menu items and the restaurant allowed us to pay a corkage fee and accommodated us with our champagne that we brought in for the celebration. Despite us being the last reservation of the night, we did not feel rushed throughout our courses and every single one of my guests enjoyed their drinks and food. We had absolutely zero complaints and felt so well taken care of.I appreciate the service staff who were here this night, you all made my birthday so special and I can’t wait to come back!

We have visited several times, and as always, the food, service(Avery), and atmosphere(outdoor patio) were fantastic. The menu and practices have notably been updated since our last visit, and certainly for the better. There was no need for additional seasoning of the food, chefs kiss!If I were to critique anything, it would be the outdoor atmosphere. A few too many heaters, I suppose that's better than too few, but maybe only turn them on as needed. A couple of tables/heaters less and a little more elbow room would be much appreciated. Thanks for another great meal Coastal!

Excellent customer service ( Sydney). We had the Blackened Shrimp & Dip, West Indies Egg Rolles, and Blue Crab Claws for appetizers. All were good.On another note, the jumbo lump crab cakes are overpriced. It was my first visit for a birthday celebration. I will definitely go again.

We are from Minnesota, and this is the best seafood we have ever had, and we love our seafood. My wife had the New Bedford Scallops, and I had the Louisana red fish. We have leftovers for tomorrow. If you are in Memphis, this is a place second to none.
