Kimberly was extremely responsive and worked with us to accommodate some specific requests for our Hindu-American style wedding reception. The food itself was delicious! Several friends and family told us this was some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding reception. We had the basil pesto chicken, pasta primavera, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus at the reception. All of the food was amazing, and I know the mashed potatoes especially were a big hit. Donelson’s also catered passed appetizers at our traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, including the best macaroni bites I have had in my life. We found Donelson’s after meeting with several other caterers that had issues helping us with the passed appetizers and setting up additional dishes from Bombay House. Donelson’s handled our requests with flexibility, support and true kindness, and helped make our special day even more special.

THIS IS FOOD FROM HEAVEN!!!! Honestly the best steak I’ve ever had, he even made a sauce that complimented the steak and it was so rich in flavor. I couldn’t even understand how steak could taste like that. If you want great food, you’re in the right place.

Donelson’s catering is truly the best catering company in the Memphis area. For one Kimberly was awesome with communicating throughout the process making sure everything was to my liking for my wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect. I had a plated dinner for a reasonable price. The food was amazing at my tasting, but everything was 10 times better on my wedding day. I had guest ask me if they could have a second plate they absolutely loved the bourbon glazed chicken. I am also vegetarian and I had some vegans who attended my wedding, and they made a special vegan Alfredo sauce that was out of this world. Overall 10 out of 10 there was nothing they couldHave done better in my opinion. For all of me and my husbands family events we will definitely be searching for a reason to use you all again.

Donelson's catering catered our wedding at the Historic Cadre Building in downtown Memphis. It was a buffet style dinner for 110 people. There were enough leftovers for guests to get seconds, thirds, and even fourths. The food was incredible. Our guests can't stop talking about the menu options, especially the salmon and mash potatoes. My bride and I highly recommend them. Their staff did an incredible job serving our guests and we are so fortunate to have had the privilege of the "Donelson's Dining Experience."
The food was amazing! We got married October 21, 2022, and our guests are still talking about how great the food was! It was a pleasure working with Donelson’s as they were very responsive & extremely professional! They were able to accommodate us perfectly. Even with us living out of town, they were able to make arrangements for us to have our tasting when were able to get to Memphis. I'll be honest, I thought other reviewers were exaggerating a bit about their guests commenting on Donelson's food but I kid you not, at least a dozen people went out of their way to tell us how amazing the food was at our wedding. The rosemary chicken was outstanding, and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I also highly recommend the crostinis! One guest said wedding food tends to be bleh at best, definitely not memorable, but they were blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. Huge thank you to Donelson's and Kimberly from our new family!

If I could give Donelson's Catering more then 5 stars, I most definitely would. I just got married in December 2021 and hands down A++++ from the tasting all the way up to the wedding. They are very responsive and they become like family. I seriously miss working with them. Their food is off the charts. Almost 2 months later, my guest still talk about how amazing the food was at the wedding. One of the comments were "I've never had food like this at a wedding." I can not recommend them enough. I'm so glad I found them and hope to use them again soon at another event. Don't walk but run to book them for any upcoming event. You will not regret it.

All I can say is WOW!! I had the pleasure of consuming food catered by this wonderful catering company here in the city of Memphis. First, Tuesday evening at the Halloren Center at an event honoring the life of Ida B. Wells, the food was superb to say the least and secondly today at our Memphis Alumni Chapter of Xavier University of Louisiana Brunch and Bubbles scholarship fundraiser held at the Collage Collective Dance Center. The food was well seasoned and the service was excellent!!! I would recommend this catering company to anyone looking to cater that special event!!!
