Margaritas of Cordova

The food was delicious, I love how spacious it is, good service, they remodeled it and I like that they had joined the two spaces and that they had put in the bar, but the decoration lost the Mexican color

Ordered chicken soup to go. Soup was spoiled and called to report phone kept hanging up. Money wasted.

We literally went to the bathroom and came back they had poured our drinks out and threw our food away . Very unprofessional

I went here yesterday 02/22, my friend and i stood at the podium for about 30 minutes. We were never acknowledged by any staff, the line grew longer and they continued to walk by us not saying a word. It was not super busy tables were empty and clean. My friend and i are very understanding if there was a wait time or if they were short staffed we would have understood but we were never approached by any staff and eventually just left.

I wish I could give 0 stars. No one came to the table to even acknowledge my party. I asked for a manager and the response was we are busy. She was very rude and said go ahead and order, I don’t know who your server is. Problem is service was horrible but they are asking for a 15%tip even though we sat for 20 min without anyone showing up at the table. I will never come back to this location.

what a shame that this place has gone downhill. I realize that restaurants are taking a tip instead of allowing the consumer determine the tip, but that in no way is a reason to give horrible service. First, I requested a to go cup because I am allergic to the plastic cups. When she brought me a plastic cup, we asked for a to go cup again and she had to get the hostess to translate for me what I was asking. Then, they tried to take the cup of water back, I knew not to let them do that, as they would just pour then water inside from the plastic cup. Indeed she brought me an empty to togo cup for me to pour the water into.
Fast forward to ordering our food was a nightmare in itself and the order was incorrect when brought out. Then she asks if we are ready for the check and I said sure, she brings it and stands table side until I give her payment. In the rush I didn’t even notice that the gratuity was automatically applied. Usually I see this statement on the menu and on the table: When I asked the lady about it being added, she said it was on the door behind wall. I sat back down and asked the hostess to speak with the manager, surely the lady who told me the sign was on the door, could not be a manager. Sure enough! She was the manager and said I was being unruly and that she was willing to hear me out. The young lady proceeded to make “excuses” to why the horrible service was ok and good enough to have taken my money. One was that they are not as busy and they can not pay their bills if they don’t steel the tip! Well do good at your job and get the money you deserve. You work in a service driven industry and that’s your job. When we walked into the place, it was a ghost town and now I absolutely know why. I even pointed this out to her, she said it’s because the economy is bad. Well good bye margaritas! which has been one of our favorite mexican restaurants for over 12 years!

I like this places but the salsa didn't have salt and the i order a Margarita they brought me the shot on a plastic salsa container very disappointing.

I eat at this restaurant semi-frequently and have never had an issue, but this evening was different. I should have gotten the hint when we walked in on a Saturday night and found most tables unfilled. First of all, our server could not communicate in English, so ordering was difficult. I ordered what I always order which is the all you can eat choose 3, and I chose 3 quesadillas. After munching on chips, salsa, and cheese for a few minutes, we sat for approximately 10 minutes with no refill on chips or salsa. After we were served our meal and had eaten my quesadillas, I asked for 3 more quesadillas and my server brought them. When she brought the check, I noticed that she had charged me $24 for my quesadillas. I asked why she double charged me and she could not communicate and got the cashier. I asked that the bill be adjusted and she said it was only all you can eat during lunch. I explained that this was not communicated to me and asked for some kind of modification be made to my check. She refused to do so. This miscommunication could all have been avoided if the server could speak English. The least they could have done was adjust the bill. $24 is not an appropriate charge for a few handful of cheese on a few flour tortillas. I will not return to this restaurant.

The food was not great, I don't recommend spending your money there. The salsa tasted sour, and my food looked good but that first bite threw me off.

I can't tell what was blander, the food or the music! If you ignore my advice and go anyways, don't go on Friday unless your there to hear and do some really bad karaoke. I got the steak chimichanga and it wasn't half bad, but the rice and beans tasted like depression!

Me and my wife have not been here in about a year. And this last visit was bad. The food was like it came out of a can. The salsa Verde was no good, the mocajete was lacking. Then there was a dj that was too loud. I am from Texas and this restaurant has gone to crap...
I may never return after tonight.
