A friend and I eat at this restaurant on a regular basis .Trying to understand the reason for the bad reviews. The service was great and the food was excellent. There may come a time when we will have a bad experience, but it will not be enough to abandon this place altogether.Love it !!!

This place has gone down hill these past few months.. the food is cool these last few time we have gone and omg if your going to put salt n pepper battered shrimp out please use the true stuff and not whole shrimp in whatever seasons you put on it...its horrible.. And OMG designate a children section because they just scream so put them in the far room from the buffet.. the hibachi is the hottest thing on the menu to eat not unless it just came out to the buffet.
Kid-friendliness: If you can't control your kids in public don't ruin it for others go to a fast food joint! It's called respect!!

Hibachi made me violently ill before I could finish my meal, had to expell it into the parking lot. Needed a refill the entire visit. Tried to charge us for my 3 year old who never ate a single bite .
Thoroughly unimpressed

The food is good for the price since they have a great variety and you eat until you are full and it tastes very good, the atmosphere is very calm and pleasant

Ordered for pickup & the food was terrible. The General Tsao's Chicken for a big glop of goop. The chicken (that's what they called it) was nothing but either breading or something brown that you couldn't even cut through. It used to be good but It was a huge disappointment.

To being with, food was cold. All the food at the buffet except the rolls were ice cold and not cooked properly. My friend and I had a dinner buffet and water each. The waitress provided us with no service whatsoever. We only saw her when she brought our silverware and when she brought our checks. Both of our checks were $18.76. Since we received horrible food and service, we thought no tip was the best option. I usually tip when I go to restaurants and even buffets, but this experience was absolutely awful. When we were leaving the table she came by to pick up the receipts we had signed, and then had the nerve to confront us about getting no tip. She tried explaining that no tip gratuity was added and asked if we’d like to change our mind in a rude tone. This is when I told her that the food was cold and not cooked well and she huffed and just seemed annoyed. I don’t know how this place has a 4.0 rating. I wouldn’t even give it a 1.0. Never again and don’t recommend.

My only issue with this place are the waitresses. I've eaten here mutiple times and observed that If you are a person of color, they seem to ignore you and you always have to flag them down. Went yesterday and tried 3 times to flag my waitress down for water, only for her come to the table, slam the water down and kept walking. She was very attentive to other non brown ppl but acted as if I wasn't even there and she's not the 1st to do it. You guys need to do better.

Nice place, but bathrooms didn't have the hand blowers working and also out of paper towels to dry our hands. Food was good and service was good. Overall decent experience and would go back again

I arrived right when they were opening. Food "looked" appetizing, store looked clean. Service throughout was pretty good. The food however, was not tasty at all. Chicken teriyaki no longer an option. Fried chicken was dry. Pepper steak had a wierd taste to it. Egg drop soup was weak in flavor as well as low in egg white. Quality has gone way down over the years. Don't bother!

It's okay. You'll get full, but won't rave about anything. Price is great!

Before the pandemic, this was my favorite restaurant in Memphis. I loved the Mongolian style grill, seafood bar, and large buffet selection that included unique items not found at all Chinese buffets.
After the pandemic, on a previous trip, Pacific Fusion was still using the non-buffet format of the COVID era.
This trip, I was excited to find they were back to the buffet. But I have to admit they they didn't live up to my previous expectations.
The pros:
The price is highly competitive, especially at lunch time
The Mongolian grill is still fantastic! It's worth a visit just for that.
The cons:
The sushi was not what I'm used to at order-to-table sushi restaurants. The rice was stiff and the rolls crumbled when lifted.
The seafood and Chinese buffets did not have some of the items I had enjoyed previously
The fried wontons lacked their usual crispness
There was a strong ammonia smell in the pho area. Workers were loading dishes into the bar from a cart which I believe was the source of the odor. I picked up a soup bowl which still had a noodle stuck inside it.
Bottom line: I would go just for the Mongolian grill, but it's no longer on my must-visit list for Memphis.
Dietary restrictions: There were plenty of options free from dairy ingredients.
