My husband had been wanting to try this place because he saw it on triple D. We went for his bday. I think he expected there to be like a formal dining experience. Nope you go to the counter and order. And even if you say it is for dinein you are still served in to go plates. The table was a messy. We asked and it was wiped but not well. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Now to the real reason we went...food. I ordered the Carribean oxtail over peas and rice. Ok there was nothing carribean about the oxtail. They were in a basic brown gravy. No real flavor. The rice was undercooked and stiff. My 2 sides were spaghetti and a carrot and cucumber salad. The spaghetti was surprisingly good just a little spicy but favorable. The salad was tasty and different. I also ordered the lobster nuggets. They were over seasoned and very salty. But I could tell if the salt was dialed back a little these could be my favorite. The lobster was very fresh. I may give them another shot. My husband seemed to enjoy his meal.

Excellent service, clean restaurant, with a nice atmosphere and beautiful artwork on the walls. I got a grilled chicken salad and the grilled chicken was amazing! I’ll be back! I wanted to take a picture but before you know it that salad was gone!

I visited this place thinking that I'd have a really good experience and I always try to support my own people. We went in and there was one person working due to a festival (which was understandable) but wasn't acceptable was the quality of the food.
I initially was looking for oxtails but they were out, I then asked for wings but they were out, and essentially out of a lot of things. I finally settled on the jerk chicken over rice with the 2 sides being baked beans and Mexican street corn.
When I received my plate it was hard to find any rice and peas (no peas were present) and the first bite of chicken was decent (it was smoked and had a good taste) the 2nd chunk of chicken was still bloody. I tried the corn which I was looking forward to and it was dried out and was hard. The Mexican street condiments weren't appeasing either. My boyfriend had the catfish with spaghetti and coleslaw. The fish was good for him but the spaghetti was bland and cold with sprinkled cheese that didn't even melt.
I went to speak to the cashier who had come in after my order was taken and I asked could I get a refund. Both meals were $39 in total. He pointed to a sign that says no refunds or exchanges. I said but my chicken is bloody and I live 2 hours and 30 minutes away. He asked did I pay with cash or card. When I explained that I paid with a card he said I'm sorry. After staring at each other awkwardly I just asked for a piece of cake and a juice from the box and left. I am so disappointed in this experience we had!

Me and my husband stopped by here because we wanted to try something new they had great service and a chill atmosphere but the food in my opinion was not worth the money I got the jerk chicken pasta and my husband got the boss man pasta all together we spent 96.00 to me this place is over priced and the food wasn’t all that great.

For a restaurant that’s practically in the cut with no customers inside why is it when I walked into the restaurant I wasn’t even acknowledged no “Hey welcome to Trap Fusion or Hey welcome in” I ordered the weekly $10 jerk chicken Alfredo bowl and the jerk chicken Alfredo pasta. When I received my food it was hot, but they have a $10 weekly special for the Jerk Chicken Alfredo bowl was the smallest thing of pasta I’ve ever received. It shouldn’t even be $10 the size of that bowl should be $7 at most. If you eat at Tropical Smoothie Cafe and get their smoothie bowls or parfait that’s the exact same size as the alfredo bowl I received. Both of the pasta was blander than a wheat grass shot and that has more flavor than that pasta I received. Not only was the pasta bland it was also dry as hell as well. I’m all for supporting black owned businesses but don’t hand me no damn bland and dry food. I shouldn’t have to come home and season the pasta that’s what should’ve been done already. Now I see why the Cordova location always empty. The food isn’t where it should be.

Saw such positive reviews of this spot so I decided to try something new since don't eat out much. I like supporting BOB but was not pleased from the initial entry. I walked over to the young lady sitting behind counter and she's sneezed upon my entrance. She directs me to the menu. I explained already knew what I want and she tells me to place in kiosk. I enter my order and take a seat. As I wait for food the cook comes out and speaks to a person and has gloves on but no hair knet. A few mins later a few other people come in and the guy comes out and ask if good to place order on kiosk and they did. A little while later the young lady that was at the counter proceeds to the back. Next I see her what looks like preparing food. I don't know if she washed hands or not but there she goes sneezing again which was probably over the food. She puts two boxes on counter and asked if I was dining in or to go. I informed to go and proceeded to ask her about sneezing and she claims she didn't but I heard her clearly. Took the bag and left. Guess gone chalk this up as a $$s lost cuz never tasted even though had high hopes. We got do better at welcoming customers and following food codes. Being generous with rating.

Service was terrible. Food was terrible. I ordered online and they ran out of one entree that I ordered. Instead of calling me to see if I wanted to replace it, they waited until I showed up to tell me. Then they lied to me that fee would be refunded to my account and it never was.
